  • its the ideomotor effect

  • hey so is there a way to tell what kind of inductions are better for analytical or imaginative persons?

  • the bigger I made the circle the bigger it moves, but it never seems to go far outside the circle, does that mean I'm analytical? what forms of inductions work best on me?

  • I was almost going to start a rant about how it DOES happen, you're explaining it ;) so, good job. Do keep inb mind though that the left vs right brain seperation hypothesis has lately been contested every here and there to avoid people thinking you only need one or the other to be more creative... in fact one needs BOTH "halves" trained to gain max potential out of it... what good is drawing a fibonacci spiral when you don't know or feel the math ;).

  • Very analyticle hardley moved

  • Yes! Imaginative!!!

  • Haha, I didn't believe but it worked. Mine was moving in an enormous circle. Funny things our brains can do. :D

  • Mine flew way out, back and forth and in a circle, but I already knew I am very imaginitive.

  • very imaginativee o_____O

  • im an artist, so i thought id be very imaginative, but no, it barely moves AT ALL!

  • That was sweet, I was very imaginative from the start, but I found it interesting in how my thought process in trying to figure out how it worked and it's purpose was more analytical the entire time.

  • I'm very very imaginative lol :)

  • it mostly went to b and d just very slightly to c and a and big move very abrupt..... any ideas wath that is

  • CABDCBDABCBADBCDABCBADBCBDABCBDABCB think about that xD

  • how come mine didn't move at all, people who think hypnosis and all that crap are retarded.this doesn't work because you CAN'T MOVE MATTER WITH YOUR MIND. its doesn't matter if your right or left brained this is fake, its been disproven more times than i can count.also, if it does move it depends on your angle of observation, when i slightly moved my arm it appeared to go bigger than the circle, but when i looked directly down on it, it was smaller than the circle.

  • @ThePokenerd5 listen douche... if u dont belive in hypnosis and it is retarded why try it out anyways so instead on hating why dont you do urself a favor.. SHUT THE FUCK UP and find a life.

  • I was more imaginative. It was going just about off the paper...

  • It works, and it looks that I'm analytic. Doesn't the length of the pendulum matter for the interpretation of the result?... See?... I am analytical after all... And another question: does this change during the day?

  • no top comments ....hi

  • wow this dude is legit

  • You fail to connect how one connects to the other. Some may do large and some small, but how does that imply or prove in any way that they are one type of person over the other?

  • I didn't take the time to search a thread and a needle so i just took a key and a rubber band... either im tired or this shit actually works o_0

  • Got teeth? who gives a fig?

  • Yay!!! im imaginative!!!!!! ^.^

  • im inaginative and in respons to LLIGotAnAddiction you are analytical

  • apperently i'm just about in the middle. it swung bigger but no hugely bigger.

  • wooooo! Ed got a bod.

  • i can make it do both as big or as small a movement as i want what does that mean?

  • I thought I'd be analytical, but apparently I'm imaginative. :P I had somewhat large circles and swinging.

  • what does it mean if it doesnt move at all?

  • @ImAToker420 You are more analytical.

  • Imaginative - mine was really out of the circle

  • Awesome isn't that neat? I'm both but as you see I'm more imaginative, depends on the day.

  • it went pretty much exactly to the edge of the circle. what does that mean?

  • You're a bit of both as I am. That's cool.

  • wow I thought I was going to be analytical, because I'm the logical type, but I'm not. Sweet!

  • Cool, even if analytical you can still go deeply into a hypnotic state. Either way there is no "wrong" way to be.

  • this is my problem. if i think up and down ill think "hmm its supposed to swing up and down" then i wont be able to unconsciously do this and i know that it will be an unconscious reaction .. i dnt get it. i have an incredible imagination. i could make award winning movies from my dreams and im 17. yet im immune to suggestion cuz i know wuts going to happen.. wut the fuk am i supposed to do.. like fukin dowsing rods. u know the stiks r supposed to move so u move them.i cant weven explain it. shi

  • Your comment on "idiomoter" reminded me of dowsing for graves. Do you think people can dowse for graves/water wells? I heard somewhere that it has to do with those small movements in the fingers and suggestions, but also that it might be legitimate, but who knows.

  • Who knows not into dowsing I have a video to show people on using this to answer questions your subconscious mind.

  • I'm analytical. This really just reinforced something I already suspected though.

  • analytical, damn

  • I'm both more imaginative though. DON'T apologize doesn'y mean nothing just different methods are better for you is all. Sorry should've explained it better.

  • See my confusion induction I just made :)

  • Imaginative!!! That was really fun experience!!! I think to do a circle, and then to try to do a BIGGER circle and it works. Really amazing =D

  • Me too though I can be analytical but more so imaginative, it's neat though you know how it works.

  • Confusion Induction. Or see my last intense progressive muscle relaxation video. You keep the conscious mind at work while doing the suggestions to the subconscious. Also see Hypnosis For Sleep Part 1.

  • Imaginative...=) Rock On!!!

  • Me too though I can be both.

  • Hmmm analytical ... interesting :D

    Thanks again Eddini fantastic :)

  • No problem, weird though kinda how it works.

  • That was really fascinating , apparently i am more of the analytical type.. i never really realized the power of the subconscience. thank you..

  • Nice, yes very powerful. Well they say we only use 10% of our brain. That's why in Hypnosis in comparison to other therapies we go STRAIGHT to the root causes, as your subconscious is like a memory bank, holding ALL memories, also it has your deep rooted habits (hense it's good for quitting smoking), believes and so on. In 1-3 session extremely rarely 6 at the most we can help solve a problem whereas in regular therapy you'll see them once a week for a year maybe more.

  • well that certainly was interesting, i would have always thought of myself as analytical, but damn... i had a small crucifix on the end of a gold chain, and the thing was spinning WAY outside the circle. and the most strange thing is... i can't really explain it. Ed man that is some pretty damn kool stuff bud!!

  • Thanks yes even like me saying the words as well as thinking helps. I'm both types. If you see though I'm slightly more imaginative as you saw mine flaying around...lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Did you really just say "Peace to ya mother"??? I really did LOL then.

Definitely an analytical type but it did whatever I thought about. And as the old saying goes, it's not the size of the wave that counts..... it's the motion of the ocean!

  • Well watch my last one hear the small version but on facebook the advanced 15 minute progressive muscle relaxation. I tell ya you go DEEP. Yes I try to be funny at times...lol.

  • I know I'm an analytical person and I tried this to see if it worked...

the needle did not leave the circle. I managed to move it in the direction I thought of (first A-B, then C-D), but only in short swings.

  • That's cool and thanks. Look there's no "right way" to be so don't beat yourself up or think you failed by saying only. That's cool, as I'd use a specific Induction (method) technique on you if in person. Watch my Sleep Part 1. There I use something called a "Confusion Technique". Some try to pry apart every word. As it's good to hear what I'm saying, it's something you follow. With a confusion method when confused your mind gives up as you cannot follow what I'm saying and sub. mind follows.

  • very interesting

  • Thanks :)
