@Rawinho You might be able to. Haven't tried. It goes in and out and is felxible. You can use a camera that doesnt have that hole and it just pushes the pin down into the plate wiht no problem. It is designed to work with or without it.
the tripod box is 22.25" X 5" X 4.75"... the amazon box (which I discarded) would be about 3 inches wider, 4 inches longer, and an inch taller. Does that help?
