What I meant by was saying was that when he came back into the team after his injury he would often play a lot side passes never through the middle, his corners never beat the first man and after he signed his big contract before last season his performances in general were very poor. I’ve seen some of his performances for Arsenal this season and I think he has improved, probably because he’s playing with better players with better movement.

@Jack1337Miller He's still a good footballer, but he used to have the pace to run at defenders and skin them and go past them, he never does this anymore. That's why he got moved into the middle, because when he lost this he was ineffective outwide. He's past his best I'm afraid, but he has fitted in well at Arsenal.

I felt the same as you so sad to see him leave but will never begrudge him. He is the best player i have seen play for Everton in my life time and i don't think there will be many better.
