Does anyone know if you have to release the slide on these markers before you take the magazine out? or can you take the magazine out and then release the slide?

Yes, you can release the slide when there is an empty magazine inside. When you empty a mag, a small spring loaded tab pops up and stops the slide from returning to it's normal position, denoting the gun is empty. When you release the slide it just pushes the tab back down again.

Does anyone else have a problem with the slide release not working so easily? Mine won't release with just my thumb. I need to pull back the slide with one hand and then press to the release down.

hey nice video. i got 2 questions. first question is why would you want to dry fire it when you can put in another clip and get more use outta the co2 cartridge. Second question is if you had to guess how high would the fps be for this gun. can it take sum1 down if they were charging you.

taking co2 out like that is bad for the gun b/c once the co2 starts escaping, it cools everything around it pretty fast. that may cause the puncturing mechanism to snap. (this happened to one of my airsoft pistols, fortunately theres enough pin to puncture the cartridges)

The main way to maintain the Combat is properly oiling the marker. Lock the slide back and put 4-6 drops in between the slide and the body of the marker. Turn the marker upside down and put 8-10 drops in the valve seat where the C02 is punctured. Dry fire the gun 10-15 times without the magazine to completely work the oil through the valve.

You really can't "fill" 12 gram co2 gram tubes. You need to buy more. Any where that sells co2. EX (walmart)

Rather than dry fire and waste CO2 just refill the mag. You wasted like 10-15 shots by dry firing. Get a spare mag or 2 to use up the rest of the CO2. Dont waste it. Thats just more money down the drain.
