Love this real music. This is what inspire's me to make my own form of music. Real artist's, real soul, And heart into the deep thing's that we think inside.
@SikiricaShakur Poetic. That was the last verse he wrote before he died from cancer. Every single part of that verse he wrote from his own personal experience.
I've heard this song countless times but it still gives me shivers every time I listen to it.
@mpvolbrecht What? There's another guy on this song? I didn't even notice this, I thought it was all the same guy...wow that just makes this song even more magical
damn.... like most people i rocked 6 feet deep and pick, sickle back in the mid-90s... grym's crazy voice is what i first loved about that group.. but i didn't pay enough attention to the details to know what happened after rza/paul left... for some reason, i decided to find out tonight... damn... did not expect to end up here... how the hell do people call rap superficial and soulless when there's tracks like this in the world? rip grym
Okay I'm going to be uploading this to aimini.net, my profile there is Jay4Kay. I'm always uploading great hip hop songs, just give them a listen, every click helps to make this music known to people.
The girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for our country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. post this to another video, if you are against bullying. You never know what its like until you walk a mile in their shoes

@DestroyerRa Because this my friend is not Rap, this is Hip Hop, Men and Women that spit the truth are Hip Hop artists or MC's, the ignorant stuff you hear on the radio is rap - Men and Women that only care about making money are "rappers" unfortunately all we get on the radio are rappers. @DuctTapeDreams I respect that so much. I hear so much of the older generation bashing hip hop merely because of what's on the radio. If you can look past the mainstream into the crevices of hip hop, it's easy to find gems like this.
everyday i turn on the radio and question the fame of the so called "Rappers"... then i go home and listen to artist like this man hear i question why i dont hear him when i turn on my radio... it must be because he educates his listeners, gives him a taste of the real life... im an 18 year old white kid from south dakota, i write and rap just about everyday; its my way of living life and setting myself free.
I dont care about those 17 people like most, even if I respect you take it to the heart, means you all care about hiphop alot! I'm just here to say real hiphop will forever live because of You!
@DeathrowRecords1995 yea, you should check out artists like Tab - I Love You and Kno - come die with me, CunninLynguists - Die for You, KnowMads - Pick me apart. And not just those one songs, all their songs are good. Good shit.
Real rap and one of the saddest songs i have ever heard it talks about life and it could end anyday To bad we dont have real music these days. R.I.P Too Poetic
Much of the upmost respect to one of the most underated highly anticipated from the basement Hip Hop makin' Lyricists to ever do it. R.I.P. - Poetic "The Grym Repear".
What makes rap real? Do I want to hear guns and violence? Its not on my top list of things to hear but as long as it is used to emphasize a point or add to the music of the song then there is no harm done.
@DemonicMasterMind Too Poetic aka Grym Reaper is an mc from the Horrorcore rap group Grave Diggaz. Check their first album '6 Feet Deep' or 2nd album 'The Pick The Sickle and The Shovel.' 'Nightmare in A Minor' was the last album they did before he passed away.
this song gives me the most important message in life.... im writing this comment with tears in my eyes .... we only have one life so we MUST live every moment and forget about the problems we have..... do whatever you imagine and dream cause one day you will die and you'll be sorry if you didn't do whatever you wanted to in your life.... amazing song..... my favorite song...

@JoeSRH No such thing as real hip hop. I love this song, and I enjoy some Lil Wayne and Drake songs. Seriously you hipsters with this "real hip hop" shit needs to stop. Maybe people just didn't like the song? Ever think of that?
@JoeSRH There's actually 'soul' in everything. Have you ever heard the quote "All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling" ?. To me that means there is 'soul' in every human creation. This labtop I type on is just as beautiful as the Mona Lisa, why? Because it's made from HUMAN CREATION!. Is art just paint on a canvas? or a sculpture? No.
@acdc14terrace +1 for taking things way to literally, there is no emotional investment in the music Joe is talking about, they are not trying to making me feel a certain emotion or give a deeper message. it is as simple as I like flashy cars and easy girls. There is no deeper meaning to that. And If every thing from HUMAN CREATION has such soul then things like war could be argued to have the most soul, it is completely man made, every weapon and soldier is part of human creation.
@JoeSRH - Chill man. Yes I agree that all the Hip-hop about big rims and money is terrible but there's no need to get so angry over a silly little number.
@JoeSRH Yo my brother you...i wish i could see you. Man...do you know how difficult it is for people to know what you just said. Thanks for sticking up for the good team...man you are prescise
