Chris I'm just an old timer who loves music and I play covers in the St. Louis area. I know alot of country fans I'm one myself but forsome reason the places that offer live music they don't want alot of counrty so I try to throw them in where I can. Anyway I played your song and coundn't belirve all the folks who came up to me asking what's the name of the song and who you were. You have some great songs and you have I think the most awesome vocals in country music today. thank you!

uhhh,...guys this is one of the easiest songs ive ever played. regardless it is indeed a great song i love it, but....I happen to play in a metalcore band and this is simple. i do have to say, though, some of the best music entails some of the simplest patterns.

I disagree. I think the strumming pattern is down down down up down chord change to D up down up down up chord change to G then down down up down up down down down. Start over. I'm not sure where the walking comes in. Still viewing for that.

I agree. I thought this was a great video, and I'm learning this song for a girl I like. But I do agree that there could have been a little more explanation with the strumming. However, him not being specific caused me to give it a little bit of my own twist to it, so maybe she'll like it. ;) I get to teach her how to play it when I'm done. And she hasn't played a guitar before :) But I'm happy that the first song she ever plays on guitar will be her favorite and she'll learn it from me.

When he said you go to a C, he actually played a Cadd9...for those who don't know, that's a C chord (made up of the notes C, E and G) plus one more note--a D.

Anyway, I've never seen any other signed artist do a lesson like this...It's about time someone did and I'm also glad that Chris Young finally had a second album out--he's one of the few modern artists who actually sounds country!
