@blackrose32 Thanks man, really appreciate it:) I actually did learn it by ear, so I dont have a tab for it unfortunately. Id say you can get it on ultimate guitar though.
I think it`s no good idea to learn a guitar solo from a tab in general...there are not much guitarists good enough to play these exiting solos and are also willing to write it down for nothing, so the costless tabs mostly are shit.
Much better in any aspect is it to slow down the original with dedicated software (freeware BestPractice f.e.) and learn the notes and progression by ear!
@ArnyLitheman Tabs are only a guideline but are a good basis to develop the ability to learn notes by ear. The scale formation, fingering and speed you can pick up from learning a "half right" tab is really valuable. My advice to any guitarist who cant play by ear, is to Learn the tab, then play along with the song over and over. In time, you will notice which notes sound right and which one's are wrong. Slow it down with software, by all means, but use the tab to gain a structure.
i'm doing a school project where we have to cover this song and it would be really cool if i could play this to my class- where did you get the tab? i've been tryting to find it for aaaggeeess but still cant!
Cheers;) Yep you have the chords right, I think when im strumming them i just leave out the top e and b strings. "F Gm
waitin' for some lover to call" When I play Gm after "call", I move my baby finger from the Gm formation and put it on the note b (fret 6, high e string) and then slide it to b flat (Fret 5, high e string).
excellent job on one of my favourite solos
