thanks for vid, i dont understand the description, though. mantra is what you make of it.. you can sing bannana nana bannana over and over again, if that get you in the trance that is what you need, no such things as mantra for that or for this, the mantra is what you decide it to be, and it means what you decide it to mean because mediation is about you and your exploration and connection with your body and your mind or both. the words have no value its self its a believe that gives them value

I have done this meditation with Guru Dan at Yoga West and it was a bit different. The left hand is on your belly facing it and the right hand stays up and as you sing you lower the right hand with every silabel which is 8 times, then up and down again all the mantra. It worked when I did it in a hospital when my partner was almost dying. Sat nam!

Because she is just a model and was used as an example for the hand posture.

Covering your head is optional, no-one can make you but when you do cover your head you will find that your mind will be more focused and it will not wander...

This is one of my favorite songs to play when I'm sitting in my room drawing or doing yoga or meditating or whatever. All that stuff on the right is nice and all for tapping into the infinite energies of the cosmos and whatnot, but sometimes the most important thing is to just have some really happy sounds to resonate to that are full of love and ra ma da sa fits the bill great! Just like on a winters day if you leave the house without a warm hat on you will feel the cold a lot more. The human head looses up to 30% of heat. There is no difference when doing Yoga/Meditation, but instead of just loosing heat, energy is lost.

The Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan taught that the hair is like antennas. So when covering the head it gives you focus when meditating.
