You know I love turkey hunting and all but come on abusing an animal like this beautiful bird. A bird like that should have been in the wild living a free life, instead with a bunch of cruel people. Good to see she has someone who cares enough to care for her like you. Just because I like hunting animals like this doesn't mean I wouldn't try to save ones life if it was the right thing to do.
@monchichi159 This turkey was confiscated from a home after they called police for a domestic dispute. The people had many animals and were charged with cruelty. This turkey and a broiler rooster came to live with me. The turkey has passed on but the broiler is still hanging in there and doing pretty well. Both are bred for meat so they are too heavy for their legs.
