I just got my hand on a Yamaha CP-30 and I have been aiming to outfit it with a similar rig. I was considering passing the signal through my Alesis Ion, but that never seems to work very well. Anyway, the CP-30 is know for having a slight lack of residual envelope to the tone. Which Mooger would you recommend to start?
Very interesting--do you think that this type of setup could have been used to produce the percussive keyboard sounds in Pink Floyd's "One of These Days"? I've found that sound very difficult to replicate, and it's known that they had a ring modulator for the brief vocal on that song.
