  • PLEASE, WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS SHOW?!?!

  • ross bit off geddy lee with that steinberger bass

  • Well after seeing the comments made by @eljay345 I now know a little more about what happened to Steve Perry. That`s too bad `cause he was the best of the 3singers.

  • Steve Perry was an amazing singer, but the last album he did with Journey "Trial By Fire" was an absolute turd. All ballads, nothing that even closely resembles a rock song like this. Neal wanted to rock.

  • Neal Schon made Jonathan Cain do 'his dirty work' for him by having him ring Steve Perry and 'tell' him if he didn't get his hip operated on (when they wanted him to) they would start looking for new singers.Steve Perry has said he could hear Neal Schon breathing in the background so he was obviously listening on the extension. Steve Perry has always said he did not think his health issue was a group decision.Neal Schon was just annoyed he could not tour. He is very selfish person in my opinion.

  • @eljay345 neil is fuckin ignorant. Steve probably would have been in the group longer without his accident. It wasnt up to neil or jonathon ayt all

  • In a video that is on YouTube, Steve says they used to make fun of the profile.

No profiles were allowed by management, (We know who that was)

They changed their mind after the success came to them.

After all he brought the success, that is also in a video."Neal Schon"

Besides it is about singing not looks.

Steve is "The Voice" can not be replaced.

And the looks are the best, He is like fine wine, he gets better looking with age.

  • amazing = journey

  • If Ross was making fun of Steve,he can go 'F' himself, because he always was and still is the least talented of them, and therefore;easily replaceable.Randy Jackson was way better.Ross, could not even find a gig that was worth anything from 1986-1996.And did Neal,Cain,or Smith include him in anything or help him out, when he went broke ? No !! So Steve had it right. We were not a family, but a team. The team had broken-up,just after Steve fired his useless ass.Good On Ya', Steve..Mistake with S.S.

  • @MICKJAC08 Well said Mick! Perry Power! xXx

  • @MICKJAC08 Ross was a big part of the Journey sound. That's why "ROR" sounds the least like Journey. He is the longest running member of Journey besides Neal. Randy's playing on it was great, but he just doesn't have that Journey bass style Ross has. Ross had no problem playing all the parts Randy did in the studio live. It's not a 'talent contest' Ross & Randy are just differentl. Ross rock, Randy funk. Ross played on a Todd Rungren album and had several other gigs during the break actually.

  • EPIC

  • Yes Ross is always making faces. He usually has a mouth full of guitar picks too.

  • @MsOldGregg Its a pity he didnt get a mouthful of Steve's knuckles! xXx

  • spelled that wrong, i meant " fun "

  • they used to make fon of steve when he sang. they should all be kissing the stage steve walks on.

  • @jfanalways Damn Right!!!! Well put.

  • I always thought he was pretty well regarded as an exceptional voice.

  • @ 3:21 as SP is walking/singing across stage and walks behind RV lol look at the faces hes making to NS about SP behind him? or am I seeing things ?

  • no ross makes faces while he plays ALL the time even when hes not playing. so i think ur seeing things. i named my bass after ross. i brought the trend my friend named her viola Magdelina my other friend named her trumpet Ugine my other friend named his flute Kenny VIIII

  • Just came across this video. Great shots of Smitty especially at 2:54- that was so cool. Always loved this song and think Journey was ahead of it's time with the "rap" style of this song.

  • There is no similarity of style - whaddya craze?

  • I wouldn't call this a rap style- "Back Talk", maybe, but definitely not this.

  • such a timeless song, i love listining to this song really loud, when i go skateboarding...

  • flowerchild617

    I have imagined that!!!! lol

    he IS a PRINCE.!!

  • Reminds me of "the Monkees" TV show opening credits where they captioned the name of each band member as they showed their picture. Fun!

But I think they got Neal's caption wrong...shouldn't it say "Neal Schon, Future Fracturer Of The Rock"? Haha! Sorry, I couldn't resist! No hate responses, please!

  • LMAO Well it was "don't fracture the stone!"

and well Neal seems to be on a roll-every time he gets a divorce - he loses a lead singer..HAHAHA

  • Wow I love this, sounds great, and 0.44 just about does me in... what is it about this man looking into the camera? I swear he's a magician the way he can put a spell over a girl! Thanks for sending it jumpy.

  • Yes SOldonhim

At 1:34 he does it again with those eyes and silly smile like he is cracking up.

He's had a spell on me for years and it will never break..even if the prince himself gives me a kiss - I'll just fall deeper into his enchantment!

    GOTTA LOVE him

  • jumpygirl3,

Stone, of course! However did I mess that up? No sleep!

  • That's hilarious JRNYman; no hate response here, just appreciation...good one!

  • CORRECTION: It was STONE..."Don't fracture the stone". Sorry, that's what I get for trying to correspond on only 2 hours of sleep!

  • AWESOME

  • There is simply no topping this era of sound; Steve Perry truly was one of a kind within that structure....
