Pat Quinn said after Game 7 that this series was as brutal and as tough of a series that he's ever coached in. This was the first time the Isles were in the playoffs in 8 years and they gave the Leafs a run for their money. What a series!!
I was at this game and it was awesome!!!! As what a previous post said, it was NUTS outside after the game, if the Leafs ever win the Cup OMG Toronto will be a war zone for a few days!!

This was the only playoff game I have ever gone to and the feeling in the crowd was truly electric. After the 4th goal the crowd was deafening. Fans were going crazy leaving the ACC. If Toronto ever makes it to the finals this city will go ballistic.
Managed to be at this game and the Game 7 against Ottawa. By far the best two games I've been to. To this day, I've never heard that building as loud as it was for that 4th goal.
Boy the goalies were not too good in this series. Ozzie ended up losing the battle considering they lost the series, but Cujo was just as mediocre. Oddly enough, Cujo saved his best for the Canes series only giving up 10 goals in 6 games... but his own team score 6. Whenever Cujo played lights out it was for teams with no scoring poise. I don't know if that says anything about him or just his bad luck.
Wow I cant believe I still remember this game. I remember Yashin scoring the first goal of the game and I was so pissed I thought we were going to lose.
