Those unable to feel empathy, would not be able to feel the heart in the song. There is no difference to Johnny Farnham singing at 19 with catchy lyrics to when we were teens or Elvis Presley bullied for singing at 13. The only difference in this generation is the advance of social networking and the large number of kids who believe bullying is okay.

But you're right, you may very well take something deep from it, and that's good. All I'm saying is if you look at the statistics and the demograph of people who like the music you'll see she doesn't have much support, and I believe there to be some very legitimate reasons behind it.

For a start. Cyberbullying is a huge problem no one can deny that. Many teens would be able to relate to it. The music is deep and inspiring. Perhaps not to you, but for many others. The message in the song, is no matter how good your talent, not matter how hard you try, don't let the bullies prevent you from achieving in life.

It also depends what type of music you like. Empaths are more prone to like that type of music that does inspire them. Yet to other people, they prefer Heavy Metal Music. Others prefer Rapp Music. Empaths hate violence. Many are brought up not to swear, so a lot of the Rapp music wouldn't appeal to them. The song Friday though although it didn't suit her voice, she still played the part of the meaning in the song and i have heard some really great kids singing it well. Not many could relate lyc

It depends on all individual people. To me the lyrics in the song have very true deep meaning. Yet to other's they wouldn't understand them. To others they can relate to what she is singing about. Yet at the age of 14 she has a way to go to develop into a much greater singer. Look at Elvis Presley at the age of 13, he was bullied at school for singing. If anyone bothered to really listen to her sing the National Antham, she does have a great singing voice. At her age it just needs guidance.

The lyrics are not only written and produced for her, but her singing is altered to sound "better", yeah she may be successful, but why? Successful artists should be coming up with their own shit, not relying on other people to get them there.Take for instance somebody who does your homework for you, you pay them for the whole year to do whatever assignments. I believe she is a very good singer and dancer and hearing her sing the National Antham shows she does have a very good voice. Not all artists write their own music. A lot of writers cant sing, but some writers give their work for those that can sing their music. Many famous singers have video's auto tuned.

Many famous concert pianists play mozart and beethoven, it doesn't make them less of a pianist. When i was a teenager, one of our up and coming teens sang a song written by three USA songwriters. It was a very catchy song not the best and the lyrics were very persistant, yet the song climbed the charts and placed him on the map. From there he became famous.
