You are so cool to post things like this. :) I especially love seeing U2 "Rattle And Hum" in that collection which is one of my favorites and, in fact, the song "All I Want Is You" from it is my most favorite song in the whole world. You have excellent taste!
This makes me want to cry too.. This movie was the one that changed my life. It made me realize that people animate cartoons and movies. Toy Story 3 was awesome. On a random side note, I bawled like Big Baby when I finished watching Toy Story 3.
00:54 Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Cars, Ratatouille, Up, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, The Shining, Baraka, Slumdog Millionaire, Star Trek, The Dark Knight, Alice in Wonderland, U2: Rattle & Hum, Baraka, Full Metal Jacket, Planet Earth, etc.
I cried at this. Why? Because I was following Toy Story 3 ever since they announced it in 2006, 4 years ago. Now in 2010 4 years later the fact that I've seen the movie, it's done, and now the director is putting it in his drawer, it's just hard. But it was a great 4 years.
Got my copy last Tuesday! I'm glad to hear The Incredibles is coming out next Spring, but PLEASE release Finding Nemo next year. We've been waiting for-ev-er!
*clappclapclapclapclap* Now time for a marathon of that whole drawer right?!
By the way, I only JUST saw Close Encounters on Friday (I'm a horrible person) and realized the Screaming Clapping Monkey reference wasn't a just a Lee+Kubrik moment, but a Lee+Kubrik+Speilberg moment! Blew my mind.
:( good bye toy story :'( You were always my childhood memory. We'll never forget the production and all the hard work Pixar has done along with other companies.
Never mind the slipcovers, YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SORTED YOUR PIXAR MOVIES CHRONOLOGICALLY?! What is wrong with you, man? Suddenly it seems like the greatness of Toy Story 3 is nullified by your horrific movie sorting skills. I for one am cutting myself off from the Pixar fandom.
@EvilUncleFrank I noticed that too. Two Barakas? Really? And only ONE The Shining, Lee? But hey, Toy Story 3 right next to The Shining - that tells me that all is right with the world.
Congratulations, and I hope I will still have the option of buying Pixar movies on physical media to put on my movie shelf for decades to come. (Digital distribution is great for people that want to get their movies that way, but as a collector of things, I'm just not interested in losing the physical presence of a disk case.)
That could be the best sensation of satisfaction in life!!, been director of one of the coolest and fanstastic animation movies from all time, and grab the dvd finally after all the things that comes after a movie is released, the critics and all, and put it in the shelf finally! it's amazing Mr. Lee! Congratulations!.
Toy Story 3 is one of the best Pixar movies ever made! Thanks Lee for making creating such a classic! And thank you also for giving us all your support during our Pixar month. You really helped us out a lot!
The best thing is that the A Bug's Life Blu-Ray is the only one I need just like Lee <3

Haha i was going to post about why you have two copies of Baraka. Now I know.
But to put it in the draw when it's done? That's like Andy shoving the toys into the attic! It must be played for "YOU ARE A BLU-RAY!"

To everyone asking about why two copies of 'Baraka': I accidentally bought two. End of story. Haven't had a chance to pawn off the 2nd one.
As far as why no 'A Bugs Life' Blu-ray: It's at work.
Why no 'Finding Nemo' or 'The Incredibles': They haven't come out on Blu-ray yet. This is my Blu-ray drawer.
