This is a great Video. I really enjoy it, When I get bored I just watch this video, As a Violinist I hope to play as great as you guy's with my friends someday. Love it.
Absolutely delightful!!! This is perhaps the best example of western music improved by Asian flavor. The fusion was flawless. To these lovely ladies I must say thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful talent. I only wish the rest of the world knew of your talent. With sincerest admiration James Porter of Wooster Ohio U.S.A.
Performed by Three ladies and... a synth drum/bass/guitar track? No offense, but it would be much more compelling if it were just the Ayageum, Viola and Violin.
The ayageum solo is drowned out by the synth - they're all so good I just want to hear the three of them by themselves!
actually ronin2584, the original song (released in 1976) is "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band..... not some stupid hip hop song... FYI - ALL hip hop songs are remixed older songs...
wow xD i always play this video :D xD hahahaha awesome....!!!! xD GAYAGEUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rather don`t like jazzy versions of clasical music, but that arrangement is really great!

I believe this disco arrangement, called "A Fifth of Beethoven" was made in the 1976. My dad has it on vinyl somewhere :-)
Sweet arrangement of the arrangement, very boppy.

what´s the difference between a Gayageum and a Koto? or it´s the same?
654321654321 4 years ago
Truely I don't know about goto.
But as I know that's little different.
Also this gayageum is modified for modern music from 12 strings to 25 strings
