  • My Brother recently began working at Whole Foods, but unfortunately, the location he works at doesn't have any elevators. :(

  • Sad, but I guess it's one of their 1-floor locations.

  • Is this in a parking garage or inside of the whole foods?

  • Floors P3/P2/P1 are parking, S is the store, M is the mezzanine, and PL is the Plaza Level.

  • @CaptainElevator42189 oh ok, so its all of the above, lol. cool.

  • Indeed.

  • pretty fast. lol.

  • It certainly is for 6 floors.

  • @CaptainElevator42189 heck ya. I love that elevator. :)

  • Yes, those are the Delta series fixtures, which are quite cool looking.

  • Wow! Look at those fixtures! That's a first for those.

  • By gearless, I mean EcoSystemMR, because of the 300 FPM speed, and the 5000 lb. capacity.

  • WHOA!!!

  • That's correct.

  • More like a KONE Monospace.

  • Possibly.

  • GearLess Traction? NO WAY!!!!!! Geared Traction or MRL! A grocery store with 6 levels (because of P1, P2, and P3) can't be a sky-scraper! GearLess Tractions are used in Sky-Scrapers, while Geared Tractions and MRLs are used in other places!

  • usually MRL machines ARE gearless.

  • Not just usually, all MRL machines are indeed gearless.

  • The Plaza Level (PL) is the outdoor cafe and playground.

  • What is a plaza level?

  • Here's the floor legend:

    P3-Lower Parking Level.

    P2-Middle Parking Level.

    P1-Upper Parking Level.

    *S-Store/Main Floor.

    M-Mezzanine.

    PL-Plaza Level.

  • Can you post a floor legend in the description?

  • No. I was on P2 when I started, since the elevator was not used at the time.

  • Were You On P3 When You Started The Video?

  • So I think these fixtures started out as the famous square button Montgomery Globe & Parallelogram fixtures, which became the Vector fixtures during the Twinkie M period, then the Series 220/Delta series from the Montgomery-Kone period from 1994-2006, and then the Kone KSS from 2006 to the present.

  • Fixtures identical to the garage elevators in Tysons Corner Center, also a 2004-KONE Traction

  • I didn't want to get caught by any workers, or have someone interrupt the elevator.

  • Why are you starting in the elevator?

  • Thanks.

  • Nice elevator!

  • Those are the Delta fixtures, which rivals with the Otis Series 3, ThyssenKrupp Aurora, and Schindler HT fixtures. These fixtures used square/round/oval/rectangular buttons with round/square Braille plates, round and arrow lenses with green/red illumination, and the faceplates came in all metal finishes.

  • Nice elevator. I have never seen those fixtures before.

  • Yes, and I think this is one of my most favorite Kone elevators.

  • a very nice elevator a little creeky but still a nice KONE elevator

  • I guess so, and hopefully, they'll go with either the existing elevator, or a Kone EcoDisc elevator. Also, I think this is an EcoSystem MR traction elevator.

  • nice elevator there is a posoblity that there will be a whole foods in replace of Boscovs at south hills by the way why dont you try skype search for patnedz on it and request contact details for me
