  • Thanks for the video I just got my solve time to 49 seconds using the beginner method :p

  • I like the P.T. boat in the back ground.

  • Wait, won't the stickers come off if you put it in the sink?

  • i use wd-40 do you think that would be good enough

  • @TheJacob1541 i just tried it today.the cube was much more stiff.besides, the liquid didn't dry...it stood there like forever. If possible, try to use his method... Silicone Spray...

  • @TheJacob1541 bad idea used it once and broke a few days after

  • thumbs up if you paused the video to read the news

  • Never spray each cube. I did that with my sticker less DaYan GuHong and it's almost impossible to not get your stickers or paint screwed up... The silicone will stain your stickers. just spray the edges of medal pieces sticking out of the core, those are the only things that will make it spin faster. spraying each cube will only make it a bit more smooth.

  • I would like to add that you should NOT do it this way with a cube that has colored plastic. As others have mentioned, the silicone dissolves the plastic temporarily but with colored plastic it will permanently discolor the cube. Therefore, if you have a colored plastic cube, I suggest simply removing one edge and spraying it into the center. Make sure you work it around immediately for about 5-10 minutes to prevent pieces from bonding.

  • Would you recommend this to a better cube like the DaYan Guhong?

  • @TheLuggeBugge i dont think a cube like the guhong would need lubricantion, its already a great cube. i lubricated my stickerless guhong and it actually made it a bit worse!

  • Is That A Boy Or A Girl? lol

  • i just bought a new rubiks cube. and i only popped an edge and sprayed the silicone. it worked fine and its really smooth. i did play with it for 30 min after though

  • keep pressing 6

  • thank you, that really helped my rubiks brand cube!

but my silicone won't completely dry-.-

  • thank you this helped me so much

  • the lubricant i use doesn´t disolves the plastic, it only reduces friction

  • I had trouble lubricating my 1x1 cube because the silicon kept rubbing off

  • can I also lubricate my cube with jigaloo?

  • Wow thanks so much for the tutorial.

Now my cube spins like a dream! :D

  • You help me learn to use that thing the right way...thanks a lot

  • 42 people didn't listen to him and lost pieces down the drain.

  • LOOK U DONT HAVE TO BRAKE APART THE CUBE!

just take out one piece and spray in there! then just like scramble the cube 4 about 3 minutes!

much better! and u dont have to put the cube back togheter!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WORKED!!!

  • Press 4. He's using the force!

  • This was the first vid I watched from all of your videos and now you're my #1 man to go to if I need help for anything cube related. You're awesome dude! Keep making those videos!

  • This guy must get so much ass.

  • 40 people broke their rubiks cube while trying to lubricate it

  • your enthusiasm somehow bothers tme.......

BUT THIS IS A REALLY REALLY GOOD VIDEO. KEEP IT UP.

  • He sounds homosexual

  • I would not use ANY aerosol silicone. They all contain very strong petroleum based solvents that can potentially weld your cube together. Try to find some brand of silicone oil that does not contain petrochemicals. And don't use petroleum jelly(vaseline) the name says it all.

  • @61churchill

Yes, I've noticed it can fuse the cube together. But the reason why is because it actually melts the surface of the plastic. But if you're quick to work in the lubricant, it'll smooth out the soft plastic. Once it all hardens, the cube turns much better.

  • dont the stickers destroy ???

  • USE POLYSPRIN! IT WORKS BETTER THAN SILICONE OR VASELINE I KNOW POLYSPORIN IS VASELINE BUT THE LUBE QUALITY IS BETTER plus press 3 2 times and he says **** finger

  • USE POLYSPRIN! IT WORKS BETTER THAN SILICONE OR VASELINE I KNOW POLYSPORIN IS VASELINE BUT THE LUBE QUALITY IS BETTER

  • Thumps up if you think I did a spelling error on "thumbs."

  • will wd-40 work

  • @jonthefuzz2 ,about WD-40, I used it in one 3x3 it did amazing, i used it again at another 3x3 and megaminx, and it did more damage instead of making it faster, soo.. i wont say you can't use it, but it's at your own risk.

  • Does he remind anyone else of Neville from iCarly...?

  • thumbs up if part of the options screen is cut off while in non-full screen mode

  • he said peroduct instead of product

  • okay every body that wants to spend less money on the proper lubricant listen..... there is this stuff called silk drops for your hair and its like 99 cents its clear and has a purple cap on top take the whole first layer (anyside u want) and then fill the cross on the inside with the silk drops and then work it in for 5 mins and wah lahh u have a lubricated cube now it does NOT disolve the cube like vassiline it works great and u dont have to re lube it it stays like it is forever till u wipeit

  • Can you also use Pam Cooking Spray.

  • does solving puzzles give you orgasms

  • your sink is cool how you push down on the hadle

  • @dankcharlie666 hell ya dude. it works like a charm.

  • @xXnoobster999Xx mine is 69669 :D

  • I will use this Very old cube that I am Borrowing from a friend to mess with! What about your cubes?

  • after spraying pieces, is it bad to get the silicone on your hands? like unhealthy?

  • @snakevsbarukun skin contact will not harm you but you want to wash your hands with soap and water after you lube your cube to much could lead to death but ive gotten a lot on my hand and i havent died yet

  • Will any kind of silicone spray work? Because I'm looking for some online and all I find is this silicone spray that is supposedly use for cars and stuff. Help!!!

  • @fandelesluthiers Just go to a walmart and go to the automotive center and go get crc silicone it works great

  • @psn246 I wish it was that easy xP. I live in a very small town and sutff like that is hard to find, plus walmart doesn't exist at all. I might try to get it if I go to Buenos Aires soon, but, it'd be faster to get it online. That's why I was asking. I don't want to buy it if I don't know for sure it'll work the same. Thanks anyways! :)

  • @cooljess7865 then don't worry!

  • @cooljess7865 Is your skin made of plastic?

  • I believe that petroleum jelly doesn't disolve your cube but simply collects the cube dust that's scratched due to the friction of constant use with cubing. Although I still prefer silicone spray since it works better =D

  • Comment removed

  • can i just send you my rubiks cube and 5 bucks so you can lubricate it for me?

  • jig-a-loo works pretty well too. i just lubed my cube with jig-a-loo and it is sooooo much better.

  • Sholdnt I put some duck tape or something on the stickers? Or is that not needed?

  • @SompZThePro no unless the silocone contains pertroleum(bad spelling) distalance then don't lube it at all

  • You sir, are a very nice and thoughtful person.

  • Does step 2 apply to cubes w/o vaseline?

  • You may be able to lube your Rubik's cube, but good luck losing your virginity.

  • play snake game if your internet is slow. Just press right and down button for that while video is loading .. TRY IT.

  • i'm worried that if i ut the pieces in the sink the stickers will come off

  • You kinda sound like nevel in icarly -.-

  • @mouseshut THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID :D

  • where can u get silicone spray

    p.s. i live in vancouver

  • you should let the silicone dry first because it doesnt evaporate that quickly

  • *Here is a tutorial for silicon* : /watch?v=CejlEyeKFyE

  • hey dude can we use paraffin oil instead of silicon spray cause i cant find any here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The fumes from the spray is aerosol. its toxic, do not breathe it

  • Omg your in math counts???? ME 2

  • @StupidIdeastudios ug i hate math counts

  • @unnessasarylongname than maybe you should keep it to yourself and go away

  • @unnessasarylongname meaning leave it at that and leave me alone

  • would you recommend using oil?

it says on the tin that it "lubrictates".

    Please reply!!

  • @ MeMyselfAndPi where can i get stickers for the 3x3?

  • doesnt the water ruins your stickers ?

  • What do you do if the pieces do get glued together and you can't get them apart? I can't fix my v-cube 6 and I'm freaking out. .

  • I took ur advice and it worked perfectly thanks

  • hey. i have a question, i ordered a DIY cube and i was wondering if i should spray all of the pieces before i start assembling it. can anyone tell me if i should?

  • that's exactly the same thing that happened. i sprayed into the cube and started twisting it and it was like literally gluing together!! then i got so mad that i threw it and the core shattered. haha. thank you for making this. even though i should have watched it earlier :) keep up the good work man.

  • LOL, so my solving time was like 2 min, now its 1 min because of this tutorial :DDDDD XD

  • Kikiotsuka, I used WD40 it works ok for me but it's really greasy at the start but it wears off :)

  • i figured out the edges sink and the corners float which comes in handy when you reassemble it

  • when I used vaseline my fingers didn't turn black

and the cube is more lubricated maybe i`ll get a more nicer result when I use sillicon

  • i just put more silicone because it was not workin and i put more on it and all of the plastic comes of....like i can rub my fingernail over it and all the plastic will peal off plz comment back i need help

  • your going to take it in the butt when your older.

  • 5:38 but I also lubricate a little bit like that and nothing hapends

  • @MeMyselfAndPi can you tel me if using grease, or DW40, or some other stuff work as well as silicon spray? or should i not even bother to use them at all?

  • okay, not trying to make fun of you dude, because i like your videos, but have you hit puberty yet? thats the only reason i'm not subscribed, haha.

  • i have the official rubiks cube 3x3, are you sure that warm water with some dish washing liquid wont damage or make the stickers fall out?

  • @xXxSexyGoddessxXx if u dont rub the stickers i guess it won't.... i washed mine but it was after i put a layer of nail polish to stop the stickers from peeling and they're ok.... now they're kind of chipping because of my nails scraping on the stickers after the nail polish rubbed off

  • What place did you get in MathCounts national

  • I used oil sheen for hair...works pretty good...and my cube smells like coconuts...lol

  • Nice voice.

  • Comment removed

  • how your genuis to do that iproud of you men

  • he reminds me of josh from drake and josh

  • I use Carmex lip balm to lubricate my cubes. You should try it!

  • 4:17 Thats what she said

  • You dont to put them in the sink, you can get a thourough clean with paper towels, cue tips, and tooth picks.

  • I used to use Pam cooking oil and that stuff was amazing.

  • Have you applied for a partnership? I think you should.

  • dude dont use water... it will screw up the spring in the core.

  • instead of crc silicone is crc white lithium grease ok?

  • hey its nice men

  • i used like 2 hours to clean it :D

  • It started out really stiff? Yeah, that's what she said.

  • will washing the core make the springs rust?

  • OMG HE SOUNDS JUST LIKE NEVEL FROM ICARLY!!!!

  • @huyandseif ROFL HE TOTALLY DOES!!!

  • @huyandseif No. Nevel is more... nasally.

  • lubricant ftw

  • I think I used the wrong type of silicone spray and now my cube is SUPER sticky. I'm sticking to Vaseline. But it was a really helpful tutorial! :)

  • i lubricate my cube with super glue

  • @Lethalis1234 ...how does THAT work?
