@ChLoZzY When you do powerslides, wait until the exhaust from your kart turns black, then hit L1, you can do 3 boosts per slide, each one gives a faster boost than the previous one, and the 3rd boost gives a full speed boost. Also if you hop off the end of a ramp/jump, you get a boost when you land, the speed of the boost depends on how much air you got during the jump.

Unlock Nitros Oxide :

Complete adventure mode with all platinum relics, next defeat all n. trophys ghost cars in time trial tracks in order starting with crash cove first do not proceed to defeat oxides ghost. next defeat all of oxides ghosts in time trial tracks in order starting with crash cove first. then at the main title screen hold L1 + R1 and press Right, Circle, Triangle, Left, Down, Circle, Triangle, and Left . Oxide will now be on character select screen. scroll down to 2nd screen.

2: You do NOT, I repeat, NOT get Nitrous Oxide as a playable character through any in-game methods; he is only available through use of a Gameshark, Action Replay etc device.

3: Stop making up fake rumours, because people will have wasted their time if they think they'll get Oxide after beating him on every track.

i have 1 tip. You know the turbo meter at the bottom right hand screen? Let the meter go ALL the way to red then boost and do it everytime you boost, that way, you go more faster and the turbo lasts longer.

i personally used to have a psx but now i use psx emulator and usb gamepad that is just like the one on the psx. so - no difference at all ;]

i dug out CTR of the dust yesterday. I played it like 8 hours and now my hands hurt :)

Not bad. Impressive for an emulator but if you go onto the PS1, people are getting below 2:58:00 for total time. My best lap is 59:81. Search Thomas60 for the best.

I have better times on my PS1 but only down to 1:11. I used an emulator for the video which makes it a little harder without a real controller as I use a Destroyer Tiltpad with a funky D-pad. I lost my disk a while back but am very glad I got the ISO onto my computer beforehand.
