@60smusicforever11 yeah in this class you build blue print a stock 350 then once you dyno it you build/blue print a built top end you pick you own cam heads intake and carb. then you run it. then you nos tune it end result if your good around 600whp in dat t bucket :)

UTI is all about the money! Not bad training, but not want you would think. You should check out Washtenaw College in Ann Arbor, Mi. They have a few of their student built cars on the Tube (Search "TEAM WCC"). They build real high end customs but they do not spend big money on ads like the others (I took a tour there last week). They are a bunch of bad asses! BEST AUTOMOTIVE/WELDING SCHOOL IN NORTH AMERICAN SINCE 1965! Check out their Custom Cars & Concepts Program.
phase 9 was that the electronics class? i whent also i graduated 2004 right before they movedd to the new campus what did you study i did auto motive diesel and industrial with ford fact training
when I was there phase 9 was automatic transmissions. It had a failure rate of 70 percent. That's why everyone called it rephase 9. Yeah I took automotive and diesel, industrial. Moved back home to work on industrial engines in the oilfield. Good School
To all the people talking shit about UTI, the instructors give you 2 choices, you either dance, or you get an infraction (which goes on your permanent record for all future employers to see). Wouldn't you like the chance to choose instead of getting an infraction, that and the dance only consumes 5 minutes of a 6 hour work day.
Students @ UTI never seem to understand that we are told to enforce the rules or lose our jobs!! It aint gonna be some punk ass kid who hasnt even truly lived life yet making me lose my job! You're expected to show up on time for work and these are the values UTI teaches. Go crying to your boss when he fires you for being late once or twice. Some students act like they're the only ones with problems yet the teachers seem to show up on time EVERYDAY! Final Thought: GROW UP!!
