Well.. so far we have had a couple devastating earthquakes, one of which followed by a tsunami. Now I hope this is not what we can expect for till the calendar ends , but tragedy's such as the quake and tsunami will defiantly bring humanity together (unity consciousness). Good video. I think it's important to distinguish that we are not looking at "ultimate" human consciousness, but quantum evolutionary human consciousness shift. It's very similar to what happened 2000 years ago when Jesus, Buddha and other quantum evolutionaries came into incarnation. As a christian, I don't know if we should put our full trust in the Mayan Calendar. Remember it says anything dealing with astrology and predicting the future is considered witchcraft in the bible! No one knows when the world will end but GOD. I believe this whole Mayan Calendar is one big deception by the devil to setup his world domination and bring in the New World Order... We really have to be careful people about what we trust and believe in! Something that looks good isn't always good!

@Jeffrizel1986 Many scholars believe the mayans were evil because their society was considerd cruel and savage. One thing is certain is the Mayans were not a peaceful society. Their society did not come without all kinds of unthinkable pain and suffering which is noted within their hieroglyphs as proud symbols of their civiliization. They may have been brilliant in astromony and predictions but none of their predictions have been positive.

The Maya were not evil. They cut down a lot of their natural forestry for agriculture & it caused severe droughts. Being less civilized they thought the gods were punishing them & started sacrifices to the gods, for rain.
They predicted nothing negative either, they only expressed what is. The galactic alignment is neither good nor bad, it's inevitable & we happen to be alive to experience it...
I believe the Old Testament has quite a bit of brutality & blood sacrifice as well.

This instead pointed to anything but a linear continuation of time in 2011. @morningmayan There are other perspectives possible... Maybe we did want to experience what is happening now, and maybe there are people willing to drag us just that little bit further..
A lot of people can remember a time that they grew up.. Parents telling you what to do, must go to school, to a party, important this and that, or else... And you were always kicking and screaming, just never wanting to comply or even listen.. sounds familiar...
Not all the things parents do are for the better..

Hi linda hun, sorry I havent written in a while. Gotta question for you-What about our children? I have been trying to get my kiddos ready(ages 5yrs and 2yrs). They understand giving is more important,give thanks and life is about taking care of others no matter how bad they might be.How to pay if forward and that their action might cause someone else to have a great day and do something else for others.Most important they know god and talk to him everyday.Will their innocents help them ascend?

@grrlogin Oh yes! This is meant for us all - and certainly the young and big hearted will most likely understand it first. I don't believe anyone gets left behind in this because I believe it will happen on a cellular or DNA level as part of our evolution as humans ie. and than humans realized killing the planet, each other and all other life forms was not advantageous for our ultimate survival as a species.....

@asymthought So True.I am fortunate that my children have not been taught any differences in one person from another.Even tho it is hard on us -income wise-I stay home.I've noticed that some kids learn hatered from others who parents make their child see differences and showing that being different then yourself is wrong or bad.My oldest is 5 and her b-day missed the starting date so she will start this year. I am excited but worried at the same time.I will just have to be a strong parent.

My parents taught us not to hate, we are all children of the creator; but that we don't necessarilly have to like groups of human beings, but we are responsible for being just and fair in treating each person as an individual, and assessing them and treating them based purely on their character. It has stood me well.

hmm ... why should the Mayans made a false calculation when there calendar is totally accurate? When now some people say October 28 2011 is the final day they are in conflict with the Mayan calendar despite they appeal to the calendar. Quite contradictory, isn't it? ... so when nothing happens really in end of October 2011 nobody will believe that there will anything happen 2012-12-21, despite of that the world changes daily.

@artfantasies The believers of the Oct 28 acutually have the only calendar that backs it up. STill as you know other scholars believe the end date to be December 2012. But good thought. Lots of misinfo you;re going to have to take the info and go with your gut. That's all you can do. However I don't expect lighting to strike on that date - it's a shift that's already begun and will be culminating at the end date...
