Sorry for 3 consecutive comments but one last thing. For nausea and to make it feel better in general aswell as to get rid of the itching due to opiates take some diphenhydramine or other antihistamine. In people with add and adhd alot of times depressants work as stimulants. For me in low doses hyrocodone stimulates me and relives pain in higher it sedates me and relaxes me aswell as relive pain without allowing me to fall completely asleep allowing for meditation and such without fallingasleep

Oh I disagree with it not being an entheogen.. If I take a propper does and lay back eyes closed I will go in and out of visions (close to but not the same as dreams) some would call this the nod however this was different.

When you take 60mg within about 5-7 hours you can call that strong. 15 mg with any form of tollerence doesn't do a whole lot for most.

Pt. 2 : My experiences r that opioids tend 2 work on pain. Anything over the Event Horizon goes 2 getting high. My pain levels r so hi that in 6 yrs I have only, snd accidentally gotten high, n it weirded me out because I'm a recovering alcoholic. I do not consider peyote and sacred plants, 2 b drugs. In ceremony, I have been 2 dozens of peyote/Tipi mtgs. n have a good friend that is a Dineh (Navaho Medicine Man) who has also been a peyote roadman 4 yrs n that runs in his genome...

Pt. 1 - I liked yr observations about Ritalin. While it does help focus on a descrete object or task, I think it narrows the band of other states of consciousness to which we have some availability either w/subtle energy work (the Q'ero People and the Lakota who have n know how 2 work w/powerful ASC's. I suffer from a number of dx's and severe chronic pain, thusly taking massive amounts of opioid analgesics; having an addictive background, I am lucky in that I am dependent but not addicted.

ive tooken vicodin 3 times and only one time had a bad trip where i was a dumb ass and took 3 22.5mg on a empty stomache than drank 2 glasses of grapefruit juice and puked my brains out.

I wont be taking it again i dont want to have a chance for addiction.

to me its more of a warming high you feel warm and you just wanna sigh and let out alot of stress i just hate the sweating and stomache ache aspect of it.rather smoke bud

I personal recreational use of oxycodone was terrible, I tried several doses between 7.5mg to 30mg, and each one resulted in massive headches and puking for hours and hours, same with codiene around average doses.0

no euphoria, little bit of a drunk feeling.

Overall I didn't like it at all, morphine was better but didn't feel much.

N2O is yummy :)

For those who want to use higher doses and still be relatively safe, you should use oxycodone or morphine elixir. Try not to use substances with acetamenophen in them for recreational purposes. If Vicodin is all that you have available, calculate the acetamenophen dose. Less than 1200 mg per dose, no more than 4000 mg per day (3000mg if you have kidney issues, NONE if you have liver issues).

Good description. When I would do this, I would join it with a half a bottle of red wine. The relaxation effect is greater, and I found that it gave me somewhat the physical sensation of 'melting in to the couch', making it VERY relaxing. And yes, this can be an addicting drug -- even taking it about a week can make it start. One other thing I noticed was that with a more frequent use, the next morning I'd be very cranky and bitchy (which sucks), a sign I took as the beginning of addiction.

I don't think I'd want to use opiates recreationally but by your description it sure sounds like it would be nice to have some now for my skin. Only problem is it can have a side effect of itching which could make it worse.

You're pretty skinny and you appear to be extra sensitive to opioids. FEW people vomit from oxycodone at or under 10mg. 5-10mg is the standard pain relief dose for that. Opioids often cause people to vomit, especially the strong ones like morphine, hydromorphone, oxymorphone and diacetylemorphine (heroin) especially. Hydrocodone is really a pretty weak drug, but it depends a lot on weight. 15 mg barely kills my back pain and has zero mental effects on me. 20mg is where I can FEEL hydrocodone.
