I unreservedly apologise, I was attempting to reply to a mail i recieved in relation to another march, i do not under any circumstance wish to offend my unionist brethern, please delete my comment for causing offence- i fully & unreservedly support your right to march everywhere on this little island of ours.
Most Protestants who sided with the United Irishmen joined the Orange Order after they realised the insincerity of their Roman Catholic countrymen.
The 1798 uprising was only successful in Protestant areas such as Antrim, Down and Wexford. The Roman Catholics withdrew and let the Protestants do the fighting. A fact that was never forgotten by Protestants across Ulster.

Not all protestants are unionists sir.
Some (like their founders, were the most militant republicans) are true irishmen, commited to ending britains evil legacy of tyranny on this island.

True, but what has that got to do with the 12th of July Orange Order parade in Larne 2009?

As a Tandragee man I am used to virtually every lodge having lambegs, but its good to hear the rattle of the drums on the Larne parade as well
