  • Thats your answer...God is weird LMAO

cant you come up with a better answer than that?

  • Matt,

    You make me smile.

    Im proud of your friend..

  • why are people so agenst believing in God? the word says if you are truly seeking you will find him. i fins that most of the time athiest just want to argue and put christians down because they want to reaferm there reason why they don't believe. usually it ends up that the athiest just stops lissoning because points start to be made that they can't reject or out wit. i wish they would take the time to lisson rather then fight.

  • "why are people so agenst believing in God?"

In a word: Evidence. I have no reason to think anything in reality needs god to explain it, and much of the bible contradicts science(=ancient nomads lose).

I also consider faith an exceedingly weak platform to base your life on. It's fine believing things on blind faith if you don't care if your beliefs are true or not, but otherwise you need empirical evidence. Even religious people abide by this in all other matters than their religion.

  • There are plenty of evidence for the believer. Except no evidence that you can place in chemistry labs. Unfortunately atheists can't test three of the same conversion stories so therefore you may find all conversion stories false. That's too bad because if you realised the perfection of our universe to be finely tuned to sustained life, you would think twice about random chance.

  • The original point about the pillar of salt, as I understood it, was that it is one of the many preposterous events described in the Bible. Believing in the woman-to-salt magic trick or the old talking donkey gag makes religious people look silly.

  • Going to school, I would guess that you are going to pastr a Church, you will make a fine teacher bro.

  • Thank you. But, I think I will be a speaker rather then a pastor. I want to have secular skills so my speaking can be more legitimate and impacting to non believers. But whatever God calls me to, I will do.

  • Great points.
