It warms my heart to see the outpouring of love for this great film. Jane Powell said that without the genius of Michael Kidd this would have been just another film. Bravo to all involved!

When I was a kid, I hated this film. Now, as a senior, I feel it's one of the greatest movie musicals ever. The songs are great and I feel that at least 1 of the songs should have been nominated for an Oscar. This is a feel-good musical which is no longer made.I regret having the chance to see it at the great Radio City Musical Hall on the big screen, I refused. What a silly kid I was.
