if ur talking about a likeee 2 inch or 3 inch flat iron. it would be ard bcuz with the plate wider it is hard for u to twist the flat iron around to make the curl. 1 inch is the easiest

I had the same problem, it's the direction in which you hold the straigtening iron that makes the difference. do not hold it horizontal, because it doesn't work like that. tilt the iron a bit in comparison to your hair and voila

the chi's dont come with adjustable heat settings , theyre all one heat.

when you curl with the flat iron.. your holding too tight on to it [putting too much pressure] and thats why it wasnt going smoothly..

try to let go just a bit, not much, and go slower and then it will be tighter XD

You should buy a heat protecting spray and spray it on your hair before you straighten it. It saves your hair from getting damaaged. I hope that helped

Then when you try to straighten it again to fix it, it doeosn't straighten and then when it finally straightens it doesn't curl again and then it becomes so greasy and ugly since i touched it so much! but it just keep practicing and heres a tip if i dosent come out (the curl) dont use the same section because the more u do the more the curls wont come out so just curl a section once and move on if it comes out not curled leave it and when it cools go back to it

you just need a one inch flat iron. it can be as hot as you want. and heat protection put in your hair. you can put in curly stuff if you want.
