@1985nabeul We used Revit 2010 to build the architectural model and used it to generate all of our door and room schedules, floor plans, reflected plans, floor finish plans, exterior elevations, interior elevations and enlarged plans,for our contract document tender set. We used AutoCAD 2011 to do our wall sections and plan details. We exported our Revit model to AutoCAD drawings for use by our consultants. This was our first BIM/Revit experience and we are beginning to see positive results.
In Revit, as early as the 2010 version there in an option called 'walkthrough' with which one can make animations just like you were exploring the building.
This is done by creating pathways around and in your structure coupled with camera angles and direction which gives you the complete walkthrough of your building.
Special EFX and rendering can be added to your REVIT model through a software called 3DSMAX for real world imagery.
god thats gorgeous. what about the old building? I live right by I was wondering what is gonna happen to the current one being used. lol I remember the time when they were thinking of shutting the school down cause of lack of people
