I live it when ours talks too! Micah will be 3 on March 16, 2011.
He is our little baby bird! He says wanna go bye bye? Hi Daddy, wanna go by daddy, hello, hi, hi Katie, wanna come up, wanna come down, wanna come out, hi sweet pumpkin, I love you, give me a kiss, come on come on, peek a boo, hi Micah, what are you doing?, gotta go poo poo, etc, but those are the most.
Oh my god, that's too cute! We have a Rosie, too, but he hasn't actually 'spoken' yet, though I swear he did say 'hello' once and only once. He'll be a year old next month. How old was yours when she started talking?
Aww - it will talk soon - my Rosie is a year and a half (I bought her at a year and she already knew how to say "hello" and "I'm a pretty bird". Since then, she constantly surprises me. She's learned "Bu-bye, come here, step up, and even "polly want a cracker".She recently learned to say "How you Doin'" which is hilarious! I'll post more video's of her soon. Just keep talking to yours/give it a lot of attention, it will learn.
Thanks for the response and the hope! Aren't they the greatest birds? Mine is still somewhat of a chicken around new objects, through we just bought him a separate perch to sit and watch TV with us. For obvious reasons, you know why you can't hold a bird on your lap too long. He is so much one of the family, though, and knows it. Can't wait for more of your vids.
is is true that theses cockatoos are a bit more independent than the other species?

yeah, they're the same bird.
But i much prefer pink and grey Galah.
Galah means "fool" in australian slang, suits them perfectly!
like bare-eyed cockatoo, corella sounds much better.

Rose breasted cockatoo and galahs are the same it just that the proper name is actually rose breasted cockatoo.
