There are no other scanners for this price that you can find that do all this. snap on's solus you pay nearly 4 grand retail price, almost 3 grand more than the ethos, and the only benefit you get extra is the bi-directional tests. Plus very little european and asian coverage. If your looking for a scanner this is it. Best of all you can get them from Matco and Cornwell now.
i have one of these scanners and its by far one of the fastest, more capable machines out there, i use it for imported cars only, euro and japanese, there isnt a control module that it wont communicate with, snap on is mostly aimed at domestic vehicles, not so hot on imports and the price is crazy expensive

Cornwell tool guys sell them. $3500 for the x431 Tool.

Good bit of kit but i found the Snap on range quicker and easier to use.
