@Bcutter about 2 and a half years. My piano teacher says I got a good technique but I need to work on the more technical parts like reading notes (seriously, it takes me hours)
of all the songs you played, the only one that I can play is moonlight sonata 3rd movement. Sry for my english, I'm from Sweden (yes, the meatball land)
the Fantasie Impromptou was very clear. That's the first time I listen such a clear well articulated version, even professional versions are always too blurred. Maybe yours is a bit slower the the others but I think slower this piece sounds a lot better than fast and blurred as usual.
Do you have a teacher? No offense, but with a few of these it sounds like you're trying to play above your level. Etude op.10 no. 4 was particularly bad.
Hehe yeah I know. I don't have a teacher and I know that pretty much all of it is just a big mess and would never impress anyone who knows anything about piano playing. My left hand is way too weak for op10no4 making it nearly impossible for me to keep the tempo and the dynamics. I have been able to play some of these pieces pretty decently a long time ago, but I have lost a lot.
@Bcutter Don't feel bad, it's an extremely advanced piece to play properly. Both hands have to be absolutely equally capable, which is a feat.
Your memory is great though and as far as getting the notes right, etc. It's mostly a matter of everything else, which is why I asked if you had a teacher. This is where they come in and can help you the most, even if you have natural talent and ability for the rest.
Watch Valentina Lisitsa's performance of Op. 10 no. 4 if you get a chance.
@lilazboy69 I know this, but I keep forgetting to focus on it. Thank you for reminding me once again that it is important!

thank you! I think the trick lies in playing the left hand very softly.
