  • That's all folks !

  • Geoffrey Richard Holder (born August 1st, 1930 in Trinidad) is STILL ALIVE and will NEVER DIE!

  • loas cant die^^

  • damn it Motdef you're not making any sense T.T

  • He use to scare the shit out of me in the golden eye game

  • He wants us all to Drink 7up

  • Finally, he is dead!

    Oh my fuck...

  • fuck this im out

  • I love that henchmen, he'll never die and he keeps laughing all the time!

  • He was Baron Samedi after all.

  • The laugh!

  • Scares me evrytime !!

  • i wish i couldve seen this in the cinema when it first came out. that ending wouldve blown my mind. i think i wouldve been smiling for a week afterwards.

  • Ahh the good Baron.

    Great character.

  • I can see Austin Powers going, "Why won't you die???"

  • This game has a mind, and baron samedi is the start of it all. I entered into it 3 times starting at the cradle level. You don't have to believe but I'm never playing golden eye 007 n64 ever again.

  • This is Obama's reaction to the US economy.

  • lol! classic

  • this is the ending that gave me nightmares as a child (shivers)

  • Xenia Onatopp and Jaws are still the best Bond henchmen in my opinion

  • "Mahvelous! The smell of success is NEVER too sweet."

  • @CaptKundalini

Yes, 7-up makes us all like Baron Samedi-the man who cannot die.

  • @McLarenMercedes AND 7-Up makes us all laugh like him, too. :)

  • I know he won't, but wouldn't it be awesome if he was in another movie?

  • @PandaPalm777

It would be awesome if he had a small very subtle cameo, but since they re-booted the Bond franchise I'd say that's unlikely.

Some people say there's a Baron Samedi like character in "The Living Daylights" when Timothy Dalton and the girl walk past some horror house in the Vienna amusement park. He laughs and the girl gets scared. Haven't seen "The Living Daylights" in quite some time so I can't be sure.

It would be cool if he was some sort of "grim reaper" in Bond's shadow.

  • He kinda looks like the clown from IT xD

  • Thumbs up if Baron Samedi is your favorite Bond henchmen

  • OMG HIS FACE BLEW UP AT THE END

  • I started laughing with him!

  • Classic WTF ending.

  • Now listen to the song Baron Samedi by 10cc

  • It's the only bond villain not to die...

  • @Gforcebond No it's not. Did you forget about Jaws?

  • @theballer04 Yes Jaws did survive along with this girlfriend in the film moonraker didn't he

  • @hashbrowns137 He also survived the Spy Who Loved Me

  • Roger Moore's best Bond movie

  • ITS THE 7-UP GUY :D

  • @mibevan Im surprised someone else remembered that and got to bring it up. :)

  • I forgot what happened to Whisper. Did he die too?

  • @PeyserConley I don't think Whisper died... Bond simply threw him in a torpedo-like case and locked it right before he fought/killed Dr Kanaga.

  • @JP5466 He probably did die, as there was very little oxygen in there, depends if someone came in time

  • @ojideagu I highly doubt Whisper survived. Not only because of the lack of oxygen in the canister, but because of his raspy voice, he couldn't really scream for help.

  • @JP5466

I think he might've suffocated in there. I heard he has some sort of lung condition so I doubt he woul've been able to call out for help.

  • Best Bond character ever. I play as him whenever I play GoldenEye on N64

  • First time I saw this I was 3 years old... I peed my pants needless to say. I scared the crap out of me... It wasnt until I was 8 that I realized it was more of a HA HA HA! I WILL NEVER DIE! Instead of a HA HA HA! I SHALL HAUNT YOU FOREVER!!!!!

P.S. Quick! Switch Controls and Shoot him again! Maybe he will FINNALY die!

If you know what im referring to, Thumbs Up!

  • @spencercooper103 Goldeneye

  • @GE007UltimateFan

Darn, yeh gave it away. XD

The best way is to blow him up :P

  • @spencercooper103 Are you sure that will completely kill him?

  • @spencercooper103:

    Ha, domino :p

  • @Davidovar34 You has won. But, I do know something that you didnt win.

    THE

    GAME! You lost. :D

  • @spencercooper103:

You tart, you also lost :p

  • @Davidovar34 I havent won since I made my friend lose about two weeks ago. :)

  • @spencercooper103 I was about 9 or 10 when I first saw Live & Let Die and I always felt like the laugh was a mocking laugh. I realise now it is, as you say, a "Haha, I can never die!" laugh. But I had to scroll down and have the sound off when sending this to mates as it still messes with me. And I'm 30 now!!!

  • Baby Doc on his way to Port Au Prince.

  • @Naxwell That's your mother right there.

  • Quick! Change the controls to Domino. We can kill him again!

Thumbs up if you know what I'm referring to.

  • Thumbs up if you would like this as your ringtone.

  • what movie is that?

  • @guardking2 Live and Let Die

  • HAHAHAhahahahahahaaaaa ...

    AHAHAHAHA!!!

As both as a character and a villain, Baron Samedi is kind of random. But for a change, its nice to have someone else than Bond having the last laugh at the end. ^^

  • I love this ending. Live & Let Die is my favorite ever Bond film of all time. Now I happen to be married to a girl who's father is a distant cousin of Geoffrey Holder (Baron Samedi).

  • sorry i just remembered a joke

  • this scared the crap out of me as a kid.

  • Yeah he better return in the new movies with daniel craig.

  • i love the cool villians that cannot die, like jaws and baron samedi, too bad a new jaws will probably be horrible, so with baron samedi, but samedi is easier to replace. hope he return

  • One of my favourite Bond villains from one of my favourite Bond films. Baron's laught is so awesome!!!!

  • This is kind of a goofy movie, and this ending makes no sense. But that is an awesome moment.

  • @wookie72

Uh, Baron Samedi, this character has been thrown into a coffin full of snakes. Before the credits end, it shows this scene, meaning he cannot die.

    Does that makes sense?

  • @Absalutly06 Considering that Bond movies have always, while being totally ridiculous, not contained anything remotely supernatural, no.

  • @Absalutly06 Perhaps that was a fake Baron that died and this is the real Baron.

  • @1234yersiman That still doesn't explain how he got on to the front of the train and who he's taking his hat off too. Though, if he is indeed human, it's possible he's got a high tolerance to snake venom, built up from numerous small doses. It's the sort of trick someone who goes to the trouble of constructing a lifesized replica of themselves...with working eyes no less...would do. He was quite the showman...assuming he isn't really a god of death.

  • @Bluesit32

He also posses the same sort of Tarot powers that Solitaire had and Dr. Kananga didn't seem to have him fully under his control.

  • @wookie72

Unlike other Bond's, this film saw something supernatural basically legitimized, or left open-ended enough to speculate it's power.

Samedi was also observed as being too interesting to kill off, and were probably flirting with future reappearances, like we saw with Jaws.

  • wesley dhilawayo

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA AH IM ON FIA

  • Comment removed

  • And Samedi never appears in any other film? oh man ...

  • @InternetSurfer1996

no,but he did appear in the goldeneye game,i would like Baron Samedi return in one of the new movies

  • that guy is famous for his laugh (the actor), about the character, I wonder if he's gonna mess bond later

  • The only Bond villain to ever survive, epic.

  • @LiquidSolidRaiden jaws survived too

  • @Badwolf117 No he didn't, he died in the videogame Everything Or Nothing and the videogame is officially in canon.

  • @LiquidSolidRaiden actually he didnt die we didnt see a dead body so he must have escape- i mean jaws survived a fall off a waterfall, a spaceship, swam out of a sink station (without an oxygen tank) im am 100% certain he survived EON

  • @Badwolf117 Well. if you say so, I don't want to believe he died either, lol.

  • @LiquidSolidRaiden But Boris is INVINCIBLE!

  • @dragames Lol.

  • One of the greatest Bond villains ever, he's a villain not a henchman.

  • was live and let die as the music background?

  • CREEPY

  • woooo that endin woz epic !!

  • Jesus this shat me up as a kid.

  • I personally think it's so cool that for once there is a god involved in the Bond movies. And not just a god, but an EVIL god. I mean, when Samedi rises from the grave and Bond shoots him in the head and he is repetitively shot so he blows apart, that would be the real Samedi. Not a mannequin, cos Samedi is a god and he can regenerate himself.

  • This laugh scared me when I was little, but now I see it more as a cheeky ''Ha ha! I'm still alive!''

  • HUh i get it hes supposed to be dead but he survived.

  • Purchasing a train ticket must have been out of the question.

  • Comment removed

  • i can see this as the new epic fail video

  • @efan64 epic fail is a gay word and how is it a fail

  • @peterskateman

I was not saying that Samedi failed, i meant that this can be used as a fail video if someone else fails.

  • @efan64 haha yeh

  • Muahahahaaa! EPIC ENDING

  • scary as fuck D:!!

  • That was just plain cool. And it scared the crap out of me when I first saw it

  • whats the name of this movie

  • @MrJeffte14 Live and Let Die

  • Man, this voodoo god must return for the new 007 movie, or even the next game in the series, probably will be the next great thing since Goldeneye, even though there are some great bond games, like Quantum of Solace, Agent Under Fire and Everything or Nothing.

  • Actually, in Goldeneye the game he was in one of the unlockable missions and you fouht him I think for the goldenun.

  • Yep, but he's not yet dead isn't he?

  • @usanto baron samedi never dies. thats just the way things work around here.

  • @usanto No he is not. He is the man that cannot die

  • this scared me soo much when i was younger

  • Makes me happy for some reason knowing he lived, lol!

Maybe it's because Geoffrey Holder's too good to get killed :)

  • lol, he actually lived cause hes not a person, but a od or loa in haitian vodou, and is actually supposed to represent a person ready for burial or somethin like that.

  • @BluDevil93 I've actually always thought Baron Samedi seems like a really nice person.

  • My folks went to the movies to see this when it came out. It was on TV the other day so I called dad to let him know. We got to talking about the movie & he said the scene at the end of the movie with Baron Samedi's head bursting into flames scared the shit out of everyone in the theater.

  • @cjasko94: Id say invincible

  • thats just so awesome

  • Hey Captain McSizzle! Did you ever do that ringtone!

  • Too bad he didn't appear in another Bond film. At least we got a sorta "follow-up" to Live and Let Die with the N64 game GoldenEye 007's Egyptian level.

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone know how to make ring tone for i phone? would also like Curlys laugh on 3 stooges

  • hey! have this laugh as a ringtone. that would be off the chain!

  • thanks for the idea, i am about to do that right now!

  • I'll make sure to include a link to this video in the resignation email for my current job.

  • Baron Samedi is a loa, who inhabit physical forms when on Earth - hence the summoning. Loa can be killed in physical form, though it doesn't destroy their souls.

  • can i buy some pot from you?

  • Hahah. I was just talking about the voodoo lore. I don't actually believe in it. =P

  • One thing I never understood... Baron Samedi rises from the grave in the ceremony scene and Bond blows off the top of his head, then shoots him repeatedly until his body falls apart... was that supposed to be a real guy? Or an automaton (it looked kinda "artificial")? Or a real voodoo deity?

  • yeh the one bond shoots is artificial... automaton thing...

  • That's the key story device in Live and Let Die: the voodoo is "realistic" enough to be just a lot of manipulation by Kananga, but weird enough to be potentially supernatural. That's the thing about magic generally: if you do it right, there's no way of KNOWING that it's not real.

  • @luscaslayer That was supposed to be the real Baron Samedi that got his head blown off.

  • This marks to be the first and only tim where the supernatural presents itself in a movie. I wonder if it'll ever return.

  • oh yeah thanks for posting that scene craigpetrie12.

  • now this was one of the best parts of the film! geoffery holder playing baron samedi was a fool! sitting on the back of the train laughing was hilarious! i wish i could laugh like that! the best!

  • baron samedi is the only bond villian to ever live...

  • Not true...Jaws lived too remember? Although Samedi is strongly implied to have actually resurrected...

  • @omegabrain101

But Jaws would not live forever as he meant Samedi would!

  • @Gforcebond: Nah there were a couple of others.

  • Baron Samedi is the god of death

  • ye its true very scary for a bond vinnin o.o

  • he looks like Ainsley Harriot lol

  • One of the greatest Bond villians and Bond movies in the whole anthology.

  • who would win between The Baron and Jaws?

  • He certainly does have the last laugh!

  • I like this character, there's something very exciting about a man who dies and then suddenly shows up again.

  • yeah i know he died like twice in the movie and came back !!!

to bad he didnt show up in another movie but yeah he's one of bonds most challenging opponents

  • Too bad he didn't show up in another movie eh?? This calls for a new Bond movie! =D

  • well he is the first and only james bond villaqn who is supernatural so it would kind of ruin the concept of james bond if they put him in another one

  • @Makonu2 They used this ending cause they said he was supposed to return in a sequel, they also said he still could one day.

  • "Straight up BONE-CHILLING!"

  • Baron Samedi is a legend

  • Baron Samedi! :D

  • Somehow I can see this being used in a Rickroll-like video...

  • what would you do if you were on a train with Baron Samedi on it?

  • Comment removed

  • I would shoot him with my golden gun, how about you ?

  • I would join him for some tea. XD

  • LOL

  • i would laugh with hin:D:D

  • think to myself about what an awesome situation I had gotten into, then get him a cigar 8D

  • MUHAHAHAHAHA

  • Oh man. I remember fighting him in Goldeneye 007.

  • great film and i like his "death scene" with the snakes in the coffin!

  • lol, yeah

I better he made some boa constrictor VERY happy :-)

  • Baron Samedi never dies

  • amazing truly amazing he always reminded me of papa shango from the WWF

  • papa shango was based on the character

  • gotta love the cheezyness

  • Well l see your point but it worked with Blofeld and Jaws...

  • Bond producers should bring back the character Baron Samedi in the future, after all, he is the man who can not die

  • i dont think so. any bond character who would recurr like that would be kind of corny.

  • he must be 80 y.o today.. how?

  • 0:11

  • CRAP I need to see this movie. How he show up in Goldeneye 007 game ?? l0l0l he looks ill Geoffrey Holder his head torched at the last second was wild !!

  • Jajajajajajaja ahhhhhhhhh sounds funny aaaahhhhhhssss my bad jokes
