If standard airliners made contrails THAT big, they would easly hit mach 7, a F-15 eagle on FULL AFTERBURN dosent make a contrail more than 3 feet long in a humid area. This contrail matches somthing burning up, as the front of the fireball is round. Im sorry if you think im trolling, but im trying to say somthing here. "Check your facts."

I'd go with jet contrail as well. Jet decending toward viewer. Sunlit, looking strait down the contrail in perspective.

Too slow for a meteor. I'd say it's a jet contrail lit by an obviously low sun.
