@BadLarryFilms the stock is abs plastic, the barrel and outer barrel are metal, thats thats pretty much it except for the hardware. everything else is plastic. i know there was talk about an upgradable trigger block that would swap out for the plastic one but i havent seen it hit the market yet.

The bipod mount is meant to wobble the reason is so there is not to much tension on the moout so it doesn't brake and this is a amazing gun a lot of people don't know about the real gun they just get it from call of duty so this is the reason for people to expect this gun to be perfect witch it is I have it myself. @haloreach7 basically the only thing you need to do to lubricate it...

1. pull bolt back

2. put lube towards the front of the bolt (where the ejection port should be)

3. slide the bolt back and forth a couple of times and it will lube the entire bolt.

You may need to do this a couple times to be sure it got enough on there.

Hey nice gun and that peice that you didnt know what its for it is for a bipod attachment because some times you can order just the gun itself and if u want to buy say a harris bipod thats where it attaches it has 2 claws i gess u can say that goes into the hole and mounts there or it can be used for a sling but i do not sugest putting one there because it wont take long to break being that the gun is so heavy

Okay everyone the trigger assembly is not "full metal" when stock i've had this gun for the stock parts and the housing of the trigger assembly is plastic, the internals are such a crappy metal that it would be better plastic! dont listen to his stock parts. if you want to upgrade it, then get a zero trigger or a real full metal trigger assembly, i have one on backorder right now.

@TheGreenday1227 t is a great rifle for both a beginner sniper (using a stock gun) and an experienced sniper (using upgraded internals)

At 6:41.. although it is used for a Harris or Harris type bipod, the "thing" under the stock of the rifle is actually a swivel base for a quick detachable sling adapter. Pretty standard on any modern rifles. As for the bipod "wobble", you want a bipod to allow your rifle to level itself when shooting from uneven terrain. A bipod should also have some freedom to move front to back to allow bipod loading but, that's only relevant on a high power rifle to manage recoil. Cheers!

@CorpCheek1 its really a decision of aesthetics... both are upgradeable (i actually just installed a 6.01 tight bore in mine) and both are good guns... its really if you like classic rifle stock (bar10 ) or thumbhole stock (mk96).... if i had to choose. i like the mk96 better...

@Thatwascool221 it doesnt come with any bbs... but you usually dont want to use the bbs that are included in packages unless you are buying from a high end brand like g&g or KWA. its safer to buy your bbs separate.

@133indra yes you can. its actually a nice bipod :D i turned mine around though so that when it is folded up it doesn't get in the way of reloading. im glad the video helped!

@airsoftmania1234100 im gunna say its a decision of asthetics. if you like the look of the MK96 (like i do) i would go with the mk96. but if you like the M24 style go with the gen 5. but i have used both guns and in my experience the MK96 has a smoother bolt.

@RuiLimbo ummmm.... idk. i thought all the UTG MK96 where "shadow ops" and it gets scratched just as every other thing made of plastic...i have ran through pine trees with mine and it hasn't taken much abuse... but the plastic is getting discolored on my grip from using it alot. but it makes it look realistic :D

@foxboy13579 there are 3 similar scopes on gi. The one you saw is the rubberized one. The one I have is plain one for 27. Rubberized is 35 and illuminated crosshairs is 45 :)

@sunnyboy9711 neither! lol its actually just spring powered... when you pull the bolt back it locks a piston back under tension from the spring. when you pull the trigger it releases the piston and compresses air in the cylinder pushing the bb out the barrel. :D yay!
