  • Fantastic memories, managed to go to Wigan a few times times before it closed but still dancing today at Bisley...great crowd, great tunes and worth checking out if the music is still in your heart!!

  • First track "Woman love thief" Stemmons Express.

  • Could have been such misery by the Precisions !! ;)

  • 1st track "on a magic carpet ride" - Kiki Dee :) ktf

  • 1st track i think is by stemons express, cant remember title, crap eh,getting old ha ha

  • anyone know the first track?

  • still magic and I was just glad to be part of it....towards the last few years I found the friday oldies nighters a lot more friendly with an older crowd...great memories :) ktf

  • I never had a problem there, used to travel up from London on my own and people were always welcoming. Hotfrogs is right about the locals though, but I got in with the top boys in Wigan one night and if I got any trouble on the walk to Station Road would just ask where he was and be ok!

  • the casino was friendly it was the drunks who werent freiendly,i remember them waitin for soulies to get off the train and punchin them.i remember one girl gettin a rite kickin one sat nite.thy made a rite mess of her face, she was good lookin and from stoke.k,t,f.rog from stoke

  • I went all over mate....but our local was Yate, outside Bristol....and we had that problem with the Sat night diso locals coming out if we got there early...sometimes full-on huge fights all over the car park....and the NS crews always won coz we're fitter.....and can kick higher! Hahahaaa! Fuck disco!! Ktf....Skf

  • Fair do's I went to wigan 1974-80 brilliant it was, but friendly it was not.The " Wigan " crowd were a closed shop. Anyone remember the Beachcomber on a Sunday morning ? ... bad place to be.
