@thendino1 I worked as a mail-man in Kathmandu for 3 years. I've never been the same since I came home I think I'm suffering from post Nepal depression
I want to do the annapurna circuit soon. been to nepal before, lost my heart. There something about the chaotic life in kathmanduo, its chaos, but yet peacefull and harmonious, for me it is a prove that partial anarchy can lead to harmony, and not neccesairly the collapse of humanity.

Many people in the world consider Siddhartha Gautama as the greatest Guru in the world. Siddhartha Gautama before he became Buddha or the enlightened one was born in about 563 BCE in Lumbini, Nepal. He was born into King Suddhodana Gautama and his queen Mayadevi, rulers of the Shakya tribe of Kapilavastu region near Lumbini.
During the rule of 7th Kirat King Jitedasti, Lord Gautama Buddha with his disciples came to the Kathmandu valley, Nepal to preach dharma.
@Wheels77 I don't know how to express it exactly..but people (as individuals and as a society) are unusually strict/distinctive about certain things such as (white people) going inside SOME temples...and other things such as the continuing use of the traditional calendar for official purposes, etc.
@AkashJ21 hai? tu kya baat karta hain angrej ne hame nahi haraya to bharat kya chiz hain..ham to abtak has rahe hain..baad main bhi hasegi hehehohohaha..!!

@AkashJ21 Again in your language: Beta tera problem kya hai Nepal se? Ya to tere maa ko koi Nepali ne choda hoga ya tere Behen ko, Isiliye tu claim kar raha hai. Dekh sirf chodne se kuch nahi hoga kyun ki condom lagake hi choda hoga. Coz ur Mom and Sister has AIDS and so does you and all ur family. Dabai le kutte, AIDS tere dimag tak pahuch gai he, Izzat karna sik le Angrez ke bafadar kutte.
Well, U have no idea what u are talking about, but anyway, I have alr said, if u do not want to believe then that is your part to bear not mine. I will pray for u, and ask for forgiveness. Relax, God is love!
Actually they are not, Indian looking people have lived in Nepal forever. They have shared this land with Mongoloids as well. The term gurkha is originally from Rajput settlers who settled in Nepal.
so then u mean the god you believe is only god people all around the globe should bow in front of ?? well mr tanyeehern this world is large enough to fit people of all different religions and people like you who cant stand that fact are stinking barts and you can shove your dick up your ass and choke on it.
well, if u insist. I have said what i have to, and i have done my part in expressing what i feel but it is ur choice to agree with it or not. U will just have to wait for Jesus's second coming and during judgement day, u will realise what u have done is very wrong. Again, it is up to u if u wanna believe in what i say. I have experieced God in so many ways and even the people close to me have experiece it too. therefore i am assured that what i belive in is a true and living God!
well then best of luck for your meeting with jesus and when you meet him tell him from my side that he is an ass hole and he sucks, more than that do his followers who bable about religious superiority. like i said world is such a big place that it can fit people of all religions and those who cant stand that fact are real asses and disgrace to mankind. This same superiority bullshit caused 9/11.

How is that a stupid question? Nepal is a poor mostly Hindu/Buddhist country with tallest mountains in the world while USA is a wealthy English speaking country with more urban influenced culture and many ethnicities
I was being ironic... I din`t realize how somebody could made such a question: Is it different from USA? talking about Nepal. Obvious it is But, anyway, sorry if I offended you.
I am actually an aspiring writer and I also enjoy nature and listening to ambient music and soundscapes which is where I got the name Gathering leaves. Here's a poetic phrase, tell me what you think
"Our trim wooden homes seemed as small as dollhouses beneath the dark rustling depths of the season. Above the gathered roofs hovered the glass globes of streetlamps, like little moons inside the dense leaves of elms, oaks, and maples.
Actually I think is quite good, I don`t know why but it remember me some of James Joyce`s passages I have read... I have other things to say about your paragraph but I fell a little bit exhibitionist to do it in public (and 500 characters are insufficient) so write to golpededado@gmail. com, and I could answer a proper e-mail. It`s funny that you wanna be a writer because so I`m, actually now I am writing a novel... so write to me, we can share pages and experiences
It is totally different form USA. It has eastern culture, so they are sort of conservative and it belongs to one of the least developed countries. BUT, it is a land with totally diverse culture. Talking about the the natural beauty the words are too limited to describe. You can enjoy all sorts of adventures from rafting to trekking. There is no thing like racism, however its male dominated. But it is improving. Most of all we respect our guest. We love people who come to explore our country.
i miss nepal very much. my best experience there - giving an elderly nepalese nun a short ride up the hill to the temple to turn the prayer wheels and then allow her to express her gratitude by spending the day with you showing the city from the perspective of a native without ever speaking a word to one another.
nice video and wonderfull country, i want to go there verry muchhhhhhhhhhh, i want to know this culture too near, i realy feel the spirit of nepal. wonderful.
very nice. thank you for posting this. i too hope to travel the world one day and include kathmandu in my adventures! will you show your other travels to us? thanks again-great music also.

i know aall the indian people in nepal are immigrants from india.. but wut people are native to nepal lands?
IHyRaXI 2 years ago
Kirat are the native of Nepal.
Kiratas--Mongoloid in race first appear in the Yajur Veda (Shukla XXX.16; Krisha III.4,12,1), and in the Atharva Veda (X.4,14).
The term "Nepal" is first found in 'Atharva Parishista' (4th Century B.C.) believed to have derive from the term "Nepa"
The term "Kirat Desh"or Kirat Country is found in the earlier documents such as Veda and other ancient Hindu texts.
Hope this help IHyRaXI
