This is a shameful misrepresentation of John Piper. He does not teach works salvation, let alone purgatory.

John Piper is not a Christian.
He has now come out in support of the Federal Vision heresy. This heresy openly attacks Justification By Faith Alone.
So, John Robbins' essay was absolutely correct, and the reason Piper didn't respond is because he wanted to keep things quiet. He didn't want to disturb the sleeping fools, like you.
