UPDATE: Search "Faces in smoke of 9-11" here on You Tube and watch that video, the face at 0:28 in it is the same as the thing that is standing. Same nose, same things on the side and same pointy chin/beard.

as for these images I have to agree with urgitburgit, it is clearly a case of paradolia, especially when these people clearly went looking for something. The human brain looks for patterns in any information we come across, that is why people see shapes in clouds. As for the original "demons" that was totally ridiculous!

bigbother1, that sounds pretty similar to a shadow person. It has been pretty well explained as a break down of the part of your brain that is responsible for your sense of self. If there is an interuption in that part of the brain you sense yourself as a seperate entity from you... not all that uncommon
