I work in a health care center, To but it bluntly i work at a rehabilitation center where the elderly go to either pass away or do physical therapy until they can take care of themselves. Unfortunately i have this happen to me every few months and ive been alot of sons/husbands and younger brothers to alot of elderly women i then get to be one of the only people who cares to talk to them while they are with us on this planet because their families are never there. So i watch them die.
My daddy did this.....and the old, beautiful lady was her great great Grandma........she lived to be 102 years old....he tells me a lot about her when he worked in the Hospital.....he learned a lot about her too.....and he visted her all the time! This song really hits a nerv my grand father had all timers and I was the only one he could remember and my family back in the day had a logging business and the sold it when my grandfather became sick but even years after he would say so Davies how manus logs did you cut today? And I would always say lots but I was away from home when he passed and I think about him every day

Arlington... I just visited that grave site in DC. There's too many graves... So then I guess Raymond was a guy in the military who died defendin the old red white and blue. Its so sad this song.

I love this song. I am going through this right now. It is so hard on her because she is just starting to loss her memory and she know it. She tells me how sorry she is for it. I tell her it is ok I am not going to hold it against her. I still want to spend all the time I can with her through the good and bad times. I love her so much. Growing up she helped me through the good and bad times. Everyone should see the vido. Love it Thank you

My grandma has really bad alsheimers and her son died before she got it bad. Every time I go over there she asks me about him. We pretend he's alive so she doesn't go through him dying all the time:(

This song makes me cry so hard! My nanny recently passed away, and she had alzheimers. She was so deep into the disease that she didn't remember anybody. She died a few weeks ago. And the amazing thing was that she remembered everyone a few days before she died. She was asking about her son that died 4 years ago. I held her hand the whole time she was dieing. She died while holding my hand. I miss her so much!! RIP Nanny<3 I love you so much<3

Raymond was her son's name and he died. she has alzheimers and thinks she living in a time when he was still alive and brett is one guy who always comes and talks to her so she believes that he's raymond

Worked at a nursing home for years in Nursing. Brings back memories. A woman with Alzheimers called me Katie for years. She knew my aunt when she was a little girl and thought I was Katie.

I kno this man and The old woman hes talkin bout is at a nursing home Where my great grandma used to go until she died and everytime i hear this song i cry!!!!!! ALOT!!! :( and the old woman has all-timers and my great grandpa is still alive and has all-timers and he is this womans friend and he still asks where my great grandma is cuz he cant remember tht shes in the hands of God now!!!!!
R.I.P. Grandma Dot remember i loved u and always will!!!!! :(:::::::: ( those r tears!!)

I love this song, but every time I hear it , it makes me think of my grandmother, because this is how she was towards then end, i watched her die when i was in 5th grade, and im in 9th now, yet , i still break down . I miss her, i love you grandma !

this is the best song in the world this happened to my dad when he was younger....he worked at a retirment home and he tells me the story all the time and it is sad cause after he learned almost ewverythin about her she passed away and everytime i hear the story he almost crys and my daddy dont cry!:'(
