I should add: Ellen also left her girlfriend of 4 years Alexandra Hedison the same day Portia left Francesca. If you believe the reports, it was Alex whobtold Francesca about the split. Portia then moved into Ellen's home since she had nowhere to live since Francesca had kicked her out.
