I do too... I think he was at his best producing from 1996 - 2002. It seems Timbo is more focused on producing pop tracks than R&B and Hiphop these days..

For me, it's up to 2004. He produced some great tracks for Brandy's Afrodisiac CD,The title track for that CD is one of my favourites.

I always thought he was better suited for Brandy than Rodney before that album, I see Rodney makes better magic with Brandy...But to be fair Timbo is on that pop ish right now and that was the problem I had with Afrodisiac. Never Say Never FTW. Timbo should have worked with Brandy & Monica in the 90's that would've been incredible. What if Aaliyah, Brandy and Monica did a song together produced by Tim? Woah, goosebumps at that fantasy.

who do you think is the better producer Devante? or Timberland? Devante is a better writer and musician and Devante has made a bigger impact as in inspiring other artist. I can produce its harder to imitate devantes producing skills than it is timerland thats because timbo is keyboards and Devante is a actual musician. But who is better?

i think its safe to say devante is the better producer.

devante is a musician, knows complex chords, and can arrange very well, has great rhythm also

timbo has great rhythm, and thats about it, has a knack for sounds and can place them rhythmically very well

devante is this plus more...def devante!
