  • I love this. I am trying to arrange the original piece myself so that I can play it. Along with Neptune, Saturn is by far my favorite of the suite.

  • Very, very good... Your arrangement is great... Congratulations...

  • Are you willing to distribute the score for others to play and popularise?

  • love it - brings out the pure scariness & mysticism of the music

  • wowow very good. more practice, but brillant cover

  • saturn, from holst's (the planets) is the best ! Thanks, this arrangement is beautyfull & awesome :)

  • So freakin awesome!!! =O I so wanna learn this now XD

kinda reminds me of Ghost Hunt's opening theme at 4:02-4:22 =]

  • I wish you'd score this and get a more professional recording done, you've done a brilliant job.

  • this is very good! you should get it published, if you haven't already. i'd buy it! i'm two hands short of the 4 hand 2 piano arrangements.

  • very successful arrangement well done!

  • Saturn's my fave. <3

    So prettiful and melancholy. XD

  • Your a professional, dude! This was great!

  • watch dynamics and lay off the pedal, sounds better without it

  • Oh no it wouldn't! The pedal adds to the eerie atmosphere of the piece. I tried my own adaptation of Saturn; no good sans pedale.

  • Also, if anyone's interested, this particular movement was Holst's personal fave.

  • @FlamingPope the pedal is one key ingredient in making saturn sound like saturn. try playing it dry. it sounds less eerie and mysterious. if anything it needs more at around 3:00
