@XxmillyforlifexX Basically, the song is about George Pettit's dad. When his dad was coming up on retiring and receiving his pension at the fridge factory where he worked, they started giving him a hard time and try to make him quit or fuck up and get fired, forfeiting his pension.

Boiled frogs is an old anecdote. It says that if you put a frog in boiled water, it'll jump right out. However, if you put a frog in cold water and turn up the heat, it'll fall asleep and die. See the similarity?
