It is also a good idea to encourage people to help people. I imagine those who received medals will treasure them, and some may even be passed down as heirlooms. I would love to have one, for an actual deed. Wouldn't you?

The Bank should have given them a truck load of money to give away. I can see the 18 wheeler with pallets full of cash traveling round London with a crowd following and cash floating on the breeze. Hey ING, what do you say, good idea eh?

Posting not working well. They did 25 tons of food in one day, and truck loads of toys. Has anyone seen all these clips? It is staggering, but I guess once a thing like this gets rolling, more an more people jump on board

Hey, these guys talk BIG Business out of stuff and then give it away. Don't knock it. ING may have paid for the stunt, but real people got the awards and food and toys ....and God knows what else.

I'm not knocking the troop at all. But the feel good message gets lost when a corporate entity uses it as a "hearts and minds" campaign. It is meaningless fluff.
