Sorry it took so long to reply Ive been gone for a while. The answer to you question is No it's not a knock off of Rurouni Kenshin. Its the Samurai X storyline where Rurouni Kenshin gets its roots from. This one Reflection is what takes place after Rurouni Kenshin. It shows how Kenshin and Kauru lived there life out, and had a son Kinji. It like a finale to the series. Check them out sometime if youre in2 the Rurouni Kenshin series. Look 4 Samurai X- Trust&Betrayal,& Reflection. Both good anime.

I'm gonna comment myself about this hole people getting emotional. You may view it as people getting sappy over a cartoon, but in truth it's not the cartoon, but the story behind it. I know personal that I have wept from reading a book, watching a movie, and from others telling a tail. Why is this any different? It's a person telling a story through anime and has a song that blends the images together well that reaches some people at an emotional level.

I absolutely love this video. It's so beautiful, even if I haven't seen the anime, it's still amazing. The only problem I have at the beginning is when he talking while drowning. He says "My body" and the only think I can think of is those Trim Spa commericals with Anna Nicole Smith. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this video!

this is a great video. yes it is sad that kenshin died but you must look at the tale behind it. He lived and life of pain and suffering. But he fought harder than ever to get to kauru and showed his true love for her. The true tragedy of the tale is that kenji now faces the same fate as kenshin. He must now live his life without either of his parents. the question is will he now suffer and experience all that kenshin did.
