@jonathanparis1988 They lost the largest and rthe wealthiest (naturally) chunk of Planrt Earth thanks to letting one despicable bolshevik minortity destroy the largest Empire of that time. I do not count England or France because they had colonies and not solid land mass.
We should have let the stock market crash in '08. We would be having some semblance of a recovery by now. Bailouts have only succeeded in delaying the inevitable and prolonging the dysfunctional status quo unnecessarily to ensure a handful of incredibly rich people don't lose money or are ruined at the expense of everyone else.
The next 4 or 5 years are going to be very interesting, heartbreakingly so for many previously well off people. This is classic BBC propaganda, designed to take the emphasis off the REAL culprits, however, the Banksters (absolutely guilty) were mentioned but not nearly as much as they should for their role in this farce. The outcome we must endure has been on the cards ever since Britains economy became a service based industry. This shouldnt be a surprise to anyone really.
@ukipwarrior Other countries have weathered this storm already, ie. the south east asian economies hit by the asian financial crisis and survived. It won't be painless but if Britain can survive world wars her people can weather this through. In asia and the rest of the world there is huge demand for certain British products, that is a good place to start.

@baldbaddad It is childishly naive to believe that the most well off will take the heat for the faults of our economy. More likely it will be you.
