She sure could twinkle up a camera lens. Davies, Crawford, Stanwyck, and Loretta Young were all...oh' and Garbo, and a few others were all so perfect before they were 24-25. Then their talent had to come through. Surprisingly it did and that is what kept them beautiful. After all,we're still watching them now.

I posted several scenes from the Thames Silents version of SHOW PEOPLE several months ago, with the Carl Davis music score., but they were pulled by Warner's, and TCM doesn't even run the Thames version. This is the vintage Metro-tone William-Axt-David Mendoza scoring track from 1928 here.
