Then their talent had to come through. Surprisingly it did and that is what kept them beautiful. After all,we're still watching them now.
I posted several scenes from the Thames Silents version of SHOW PEOPLE several months ago, with the Carl Davis music score., but they were pulled by Warner's, and TCM doesn't even run the Thames version. This is the vintage Metro-tone William-Axt-David Mendoza scoring track from 1928 here.
This came on the Sunday night the Oscars aired this year, but I made the mistake of not recording it.
