The first clip where they were asking questions was in Japan, the second clip where they were abusing the homeless was in a different country.

Now, the reason why the Japanese think so poorly of the homeless? In Japan, your work means everything. If you don't get a good job, your life is basically worthless; well that's their mentality. This might sound a bit extreme to us, but the Japanese have pride, and are hard workers. The homeless put their pride to shame.
