the first one is from Goethe's "Faust" and it means - a king lived once upon a time, a flea lived with him

the second one is an idiom for going to the bathroom and it means - im going where even the king has to go on foot

E.g opposed to him being on horseback

excuse me, I did. I am not reworking the video, you will have to be content with the title on the video. The only context in which this might matter is if you are downloading my video, in which case, it is no longer my problem. Next time, before you make an idiot of yourself, please look more closely at the large, obvious title, and the previous comments.

A little trivia. Lehrer was a huge Danny Kaye fan. This song was actually inspired by a Kaye number about Russian director Konstantin Stanislavski.
