While the the content was okay, I think the video was kinda cheesy. This was mostly because of the choice of music which didn't really fit the context imo.

It was a very well constructed video. Someone spent some serious creativity and probably plenty of frustration puting this together. Still, if I ever here that outro tune again in my life, I will shit myself then die. I might shit myself, die then shit myself again. Was so horribly embarresing to listen to.

I just found out about Admonition Angel's killer art! See the glass windows of Emeria Angel and Mayael's Aria on the back? I think those are supposed to be Permanent "Sealed" with Admonition Angel's ability! That is such a cool design, I love it!

I applaud the video.  It beats reading about how the design was made. Would it be possible for Wizards to require a video like this after every release? It helps fans and naysayers to understand why a set is so.

Bravo to Ken. A fine job in designing the set as well as making the video.

Wow so much work must have gone into this. You actually programmed the visualizer? Awesome.

My favorite part is where you show how the art evolved.

The cards floating in the air did help visualize the ratio of categories (like the ratio of commons) in the set, but unless the viewer is 100% familiar with the art already, you can't see what the cards are. Wish you did a sweeping close-up pass over every category you talked about (like multikicker commons for example)

OK seriously is M10 rotating when m11 releases this summer? That is BS if it does. There are only so many slots in the core set and there is no guarantee that Bankslayer, Nocturnus, and the dual lands aren't going to rotate out. So my question is, Why would i invest in cards that rotate out of standard 2wice as fast as the expansion sets? It kind of leaves me wondering why Bankslayer Angel is still going for 50$ a piece. Somebody tell me m10 is going to rotate out of standard when m12 ships.

M10 rotates to extended when the next expansion block(codenamed lights) comes out this fall. it's gonna stay standard along with M11 for a couple of months.

I can't justify paying for Bankslayers with that in mind. you know what would be cool? They ought to just print a fourth expansion for all existing 3 block sets for like 3 or 4 years in a row. Rather than a new 3 block set one year just release expansion 4 of Tempest, Urza's, Onslaught, Mirrodin, you get the idea. That would rock.

Yeah, that's the idea. October is rotation for all sets leaving T2 that year. I'm reserving judgement until I see it in action but I'm fairly sure the vast majority of power/played cards will stick around for at least a few coresets.

Fairly sure BSA has been all-but-confirmed as in M11, too.

did anyone else notice the heavy favor towards specific colors in the rare and mythic rare slots? for example black has 6 rares but the other four colors only have 5 or that there are only 2 multicored mythics and 7 mono (+1 artifact)

I know yeah but still, it would have been nice if the card did something, regardless of what format. Remember, 'ghoyf' hinted at planeswalkers but it was a card that if opened in sealed, it wasn't just one of those cards that is bad no matter what kind of deck you are playing. Not a big deal though, I just hope that Eye of Ugins aren't going to be NECESSARY in that standard format.

Standard is so boring... Its going to be awful after shards rotates since the other deck that really came came out of zen wwk were boros, and then everyones going to complain that its overpowered, just like how jund was the only deck that came out of shards

@Ballinlolz Every set has its defining decks that someone creates. Before Zen came out it was Fairies or 5CC. Whenever Shards rotates who knows what type of decks would define the format. Worldwake is still young so we don't know how much of an impact it will have on standard.

I thought Nagle did an awesome job with the video itself. It clearly took a lot of programming work, ten times more work in keyframing or both. However, Nagle's tone was a little stiff and some of the images and music don't seem to fit Worldwake/Zendikar themselves (most of it sounded way to cheery), and I think Nagle loves the back of the Magic card too much, but I like the idea of these videos: keep it up.
