Why will the amp if it's mounted on the box? I've done that with all my sub-amps, and the amps did fine.

well typically your not suppose to...but if you do, use rubber spacers in between the amp and the box to lessen the vibration from the box to the amp.

If the walls vibrate that much, they are to thin. The walls are not supposed to vibrate at all.
