@WhiteSoxSteelers11 He's FINALLY number 2 on the depth chart. Exactly what the Steelers need for a number 2 back, a guy who runs straight forward downhill, puts his head down and breaks tackles.
Wow I played against Isaac and his Paulsboro (NJ) Red Raiders 2yrs straight and lost 2yrs straight and he was just a freshman and sophomore then and he was a BEAST. I remember our 2001 state playoff game we (Salem, NJ) held this dude to 10 carries 13yds until 8min left in the 4th quarter and this guy got a toss around the corner and ran our safety over like he was never there and ran for an 80yd td. I hated him in high school lol but I'm happy for him and I wish you all the best.

I'm a big fan of this guy. He is a typical Steeler running back, he refuses to go down. Him and Mendenhall would be a great duo with Moore catching passes out of the backfield. Hope he makes the team this year.
Their RB coach said that we're gonna see a entirely new redman this year now that he knows the Steelers system. He said Redman's weird system he played in college prevented him from getting a lot of carries last season since it was a bigger trasnsition for him than most RBs.
Tomlin probably doesn't want to put in another Rookie back due to what happened to Mendenhall last year. But we need a guy like this again, packs a punch
this guy is good... but we dont need two bruisers. IMO Mendenhall packs more than enough punch down on the goal line. What we need is some speed! CJ Spiller/Dexter mccluster anyone?
Don't worry once Willie parker is gone he'll be starting, only reason why he got sent do to the practice squad is cause he's still learning the offense and the blocking schemes. I say next year him and Mendenhall will be the 1-2 punch.
I cannot believe we cut this guy to make room for Eason. He should be on the starting roster. If Mendenhall can keep running like he did against the Chargers, those two would an awesome one-two punch in the backfield. And keep Legursky playing fullback. He's a mule.
I hear talk about Redman being like Dante Brown from a couple years back in Steelers preseason action. Who? Exactly. All the more reason to give Redman a shot in the regular season. If he fails, no harm done...but if he succeeds, we found another rookie FA like Willie and Silverback. We need a guy to get a tough yard and put up 6 in the redzone. Give him the chance. I believe he wants it more than anybody by the way he runs. He makes a crease where there is none.

He should be starting over Mendenhall, but cuz of Mendenhall's draft status coming out of college, we'll rarely see the better RB play.
